I will always enjoy this version more than the D Minor Version because this one fits the tone of what this song is supposed to be for, the fact that it isn't supposed to be lively and action packed, but dark and brooding.
That said, the Undertale/Smash Versions are also really good because they fulfill their purposes of making a high energy battle with higher pitches and sounds. But you gotta love the darker tone of this version.

I just wanna give everyone a reminder, Toby Fox made this song when he was 16. *_16!_* Toby Fox is an absolute legend, not only as a freakin' AMAZING musician but as a very good game developer as well.
Well, in actuality, he screamed a weird version of Brandish 2's final boss theme into the microphone back then.
Megalovania's existence is from screaming another final boss theme. LOL.

This is actually my favorite of the four.
1) EB Halloween Hack: It's the calmest of the four. Also, retroness.
2) Homestuck: Badass AF. Plus, that guitar solo at the end is SO F*CK*NG AWESOME
3) CogDis: Actually can't describe why I love that one
4) Undertale: It's pretty good, but the craziness does not work for me

Earthbound Halloween Hack: A slow and calming song
Homestuck: Pretty much Megalovania metal covers before Megalovania metal covers, whoever did the electric guitar really loved the song.
Cognitive Dissonance: This song has some type of robotic feel which feels weird since it’s played over a paradox boss fight, but hey it still follows the: *Protagonist is doing bad things* trope, and I just like the remix better than the original.
Undertale: The most popular of them all, the chaos in the song fits but it kinda loses its charm after a bit.
Super Smash Bros: A remix of Undertale but sounds much better and actively turns the notes used in the original that you would find in an SNES and uses real life instruments.
My final thoughts?

@@Manic3865 try using psi shield Σ (with paula or poo) and then psi paralysis a (with ness) on the Heavily Armed Pokey. Next only focus attacks on Pokey, hitting Giygas will result in you taking damage. On the second phase try using brain shock on Giygas because it has a 99% chance of working and it will sometimes cause him to attack himself. You want to deal as much damage to Giygas as possible, you can use multi bottle rockets, heavy rocket launcher, and a sudden guts pill if you have one. On the third phase onward pray with Paula and use psi lifeup Ω frequently. If you want to be extra careful, have each character hold a horn of life or a cup of life noodles. Good luck.

Megalovania was actually always called Megalovania (It was named after a Live-A-Live track called Megalomania, but Toby gave it a V to give it a Halloween feel), Dr. Andonuts' Rage was just a name people gave it, but Toby never used it afaik
This IS The Actual One, Considering It's The First. The Undertale One Is Well Known A Lot More Though, And That One Is Alright.

the newer versions are more polished, but this one hits different. it's more _quietly_ aggressive. think like the final boss of, well, an earthbound-style rpg, where you have to plan ahead and take into account multiple characters, as opposed to the more fast-paced undertale, wherein sans's fight is essentially "keep attacking"

Risen Maiden of Time: Easily the best, having a true guitar riff is amazing. Not to mention the ending solo.
Sans' Mother Dunking Judgement Day: While guitarless, adjusts the nuances of the music, and modernizes the soundfont. Not my favorite, but understandably likable.

It first started on an earthbound rom hack "the halloween rom hack" in 2008 by TOBY RADIATION FOX
Then it was remuxed by a webcomic called homestuck, that toby fox composed music for it
And now there is undertale that holds megalovania in the uhhh... the undertale soundtrack
