    for the example of the exponential distribution, how come you did not multiply it to lambda? and is it not supposed to be 1/20 instead of 20?

      MTTF is a common metric nowadays to measure performance of machines in TPM as well as all continuous improvement approaches.
      Yes, it can be used for battery failure expectations.
