Todays video we go racing with a close group of racers in probably the largest dirt oval class all across the united states, the Traxxas slash mudboss class, Specifically the Big Block class. We go over some setup tips, changes during rounds, and race footage , along with a pretty crappy break and getting rammed into the wall breaking , almost thought i was out for the night but special shout out goes to Chad Miller for giving me the replacement part allowing me to get back into the main and race for a good battle for multiple laps. - บันเทิง
I went to a track out of town once who ran those transponders and it was real annoying having to unplug that danm thing from the receiver every time I took off the body

@ChrisPatrickRC right? Thank goodness my local tracks run the new style. Sad thing was the track made me rent the transponder for the night and I had to drill a whole for the wire smh

Love your driving style, low around the apex , protect your line, accelerate hard and let push take you up to mid track out of the corners, nobody can pass you on the inside unless they slowdown and try to cut under my your apex, which by then your long gone. All the guys with the fast cars say they can’t get around me when I do this, I was the new guy so there was some ramming, until I retaliated, ended up 2nd in overall performance in 5 different classes this season.
its also how i set my cars, i usually run a smaller gear then others to get me out of the hole harder, so i give up a bit on corner in, but i can also drive it a bit harder on corner in because of this too.
Everyone has a different way of driving, and people need to understand that with there setups too. sadly this is one car that ive fought for some time to get the balance exactly how i want it. but its a work in progress

I'm just getting into oval I need to find a good base line for rules I got a used 12t mudboss and I'm building a sc modified I'm still trying to figure out all the classes but I'm kinda getting it
best advise i can give yoo, go to your local track and ask questions, because everyone has differen rules, example we run different tire because there cheaper and easier to get ahold of. but they work better. but some other tracks may not allow it. Ill be glad to help if you have questions.
@@ChrisPatrickRC the hobby shop I got my used mudboss from said they will be posting up there rules before long just waiting so I can figure out what tires to get
@@ChrisPatrickRC I see races with a main and b main im a little confused on the difference
@@pbjunky511 main's go based on alphabet, so A main is the best main , lets say theres 20 cars racing, and they do 7 cars per race in any main, so lowest race would be called c main with the lowest qualifiers , 13-20th place. usually the winner gets bumped into the B main and starts last in the B main, we called that bumping. and then the A main is the top 6 qualifiers with 1 bump from the b main.
i hope that helps you understand a mains and b mains.
large races have up to 6 or 7 mains. so E or F main.....
@@ChrisPatrickRC ok I wondered if it was something like that ok and one last thing is I'm going to start with 12t mudboss and I also bought a new traxxas vxl with brushless motor I was told that would be in the 13.5t class but I ordered a undercover infraction sc mod body before I was actually thinking about going to race so with that body I will be with the big boys in the open modified correct?
