The Barn Raceway, First Race for the Rent-a-Ride mudboss , and i didnt finish last using a 12t motor

Today was a test and tune race for the rent-a-ride mudboss series. i put my body on it and decided to race it while i was there and had a blast, this goes to show you all, a 12t motor can keep up with brushless motors if there broken in correctly and you keep up with the maintenance of the motors, but also having a handling car is just as important. i struggled with the HCG and the amount of speed this track offers with the higher banked tracks, I can say i needed uncut front springs which i did not have with me. but i made good with what i had and ended up in the A main by coasting the car threw the corners a bit softer then i would have liked, but it was a great day of racing and i had a lot of fun!

Hey Chris, I really enjoyed this series. I have 2 12t 2wd Slashes just sitting. One will be Spec Slash off-road for local track that just started up the class (YES) and the other will be for oval and start off with Mudboss. I’ll be driving at least hour and a half but within 2 hours there’s a lot of ovals from me in SE MI. Seems to me that 12t HCG did pretty darn good considering it was against the 13.5 LCG rigs! That’s for a great tutorial series! Can’t wait to tear my Slash down, rebuild him and do some lefty roundy!!! Gladly subbed. Thanks again for your help!!! 👍🔥🙏
