Great video. Pen and paper usually gives me clarity not just for pseudo code but sometimes I write the actual code in pen and paper, as jumping straight to the laptop at times leaves my head spinning if it's a more challenging problem I'm trying to solve.
prefer to take notes using a text editor like sublime but otherwise agree, a journal of sorts is really useful not just for coding but keeping notes on all the things and references you learn along the way on the job... cuz there's no end to technical knowledge for better or worse
I just uploaded a short on what I think is the best laptop for bioinformatics! It’s a 15” MacBook Air :) you don’t need much power because we use supercomputers for most work!
