My cousin Sohail has just passed away. He was 28 years old and leaves behind a wife, 11 month son & a baby on the way. He died due to cancer.
The pain in our hearts will live on forever and especially for the immediate family.
Sohails father, my uncle Javed asked me to give a short reminder at the burial.
May we all take heed from these words and use them to rectify our life.

I ask that you all make dua for my beloved cousin, that Allah widens his grave, forgivs his sins and grants him the station of a shaheed.
Beyond that, I ask that you all take a lesson from this and look into your own lives. Look deep within and rectify the most important thing in your life, and that is the relationship with your creator.
We don't know when our time will come, and it may come all of a sudden, so oh my beloved ones, prepare, because a day like this will soon come upon you and you will wish you had more time.

11He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
12Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Honor the Father and the Son
16For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
18Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
24“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30I can of Myself do nothing. The Fourfold Witness
31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. 33You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. 36But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish-the very works that I do-bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. I needed this. I suffered from Crohn's for 8 years. Have to say it's the best thing that ever happened to me alhamdulilah. I'm still going through pain which doctors cannot explain why and ngl it's very frustrating. But I'm glad I haven't given up . *“The Qur’aan is evidence for you or against you.”*
👉Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Either it will be for you, if you sought to draw close to Allah means of it, and you fulfilled the obligations towards the Holy Qur’an, namely believing its stories, obeying its commands, heeding its prohibitions and venerating and respecting the Holy Qur’an, in which case it will be proof for you,
Or it will be the opposite, if you disrespected the Qur’an and neglected its words and meanings and failed to act upon it, and you did not fulfil the obligations towards it. In that case it will be a witness against you on the Day of Resurrection.

Ya Allah I beg you to shower all your mercy on this brothers soul and may his qabr be filled with the scents of Jannah. Give his parents, siblings , wife and children the strength and sabr to get through this test. Ameen.

My husband passed away in June after a suffering of Kidney Failure on dialysis from the age of 36 yrs and the past 16 months suffering from celiac disease not being able to stomach food alham'Dhu'Lillaah my beloved husband died a shaheed sad reality missed always but as you mention brother every soul shall taste death Sub'Haan'Allah. Wallahi this hit hard.. the believer is the one who when Allah (SWT) blesses them with good, they thank him and are appreciative. And when he send hardships and calamities into their life. They raise their hands up to him, and still thank him and show appreciation and humbleness. Because they understand that this dunya is a test.. and no one in history were tested more than the prophets. And through that hardship, through that sadness, through that calamity. If you maintain sabr. Then that hardship will be the key for you to enter jannah. Bi'idthnillah. May Allah (SWT) illuminate our brothers grave. May he make it from the gardens of paradise. May he raise him up on Yamul qiyamah from those who are loved and closest to Allah. And may he enter him into the eternal home of jannah. Where pain and suffering will no longer exist. Our Prophet Muhammed SAWS said who say this his or her sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah)
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah
2. Regret the sin we did
3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (This Dua'a)
4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again

Every soul shall taste death, to whom we belong to whom we return..MAY Allah swt make it easy on all of us and bring us closer to our deen.
May Allah (swt) give you all subar I recently lost my brother to Cancer it is vert hard grief is something you just cant get rid of it is a constant reminder off loss and how time comes and goes.
Just be grateful that he was a Muslim in Life and he died a Muslim he was called back to Allah (swt) now its up to us the ones left behind to remember this brother and do Dawa for him thats all that can help him now his book is closed.
