The hamsters that are doing flips are not funny. They have very severe health problems and should be seen by a vet as soon as possible. I'm saying this so that if your hamster does this, contact the vet as soon as you notice this happening
Black is my jam 1792045 true but most people can’t take their hamsters to the vet, just using my own situation as an example, when my dwarf hamster was sick it took over an hour to find a place that even saw hamsters because most places don’t, the cheapest Vet for a hamster that I could find was $65+ any medicine/ treatment it would need, a lot of people can’t afford to take them or a lot of people don’t wanna spend $65+ on an animal that’s average life span is 2 years, it’s sad but that’s just the truth in most cases. Especially since most of these people are kids and most parents would think it’s silly to take a hamster to the vet.
it's obviously that the space is too small and those poor hamsters are too crowded, it's also obviously that those hamsters want to get out of there. I don't get how people can be so ignorant and not notice that. It's really not funny. :(

+trashwastaken I can relate. I have a pet hedgehog and the only vet available to me didn't know how to treat them correctly. Research about vets in your area before you buy a pet, even though I did my research on the clinic the thing I failed to account for was the vet's experience.
I live in a small country that to find a vet for my hamster is almost 1 1/2 hour ride to get there and the bill is crazily expensive , almost quadruple the price of a hamster

It's hard to laugh considering how mistreated most of the hamsters are, the first one looks like he is dying btw (spoilers: he did die) and the kid grabs him the wrong way. I'm not impressed my dwarf hamsters lived 3 years instead of 1 like most of these..... 😢 I'm going back to Vanilla hamham since you can't expect lots of people to take care of hamsters properly.

That's first video of the Hamster was not funny at all, the Hamster that was shown was dying and was in pain that is not funny the fact that the owner was shaking the hamster and not being gentle with it did not help, the person should just left the Hamster where it was and let it die peacefully.

Some of the hamsters in this video live in really poor circumstances, which can't all be blamed on the owner because most of the time they're young and only know what has been told to them in pet stores.
The Syrian hamsters at 10:17 for example have a wheel that is not only way too small (look how much difficulty they have running on it, a Syrian wheel should at LEAST be 8" in diameter and preferably 12") but it's also mesh, which can cause serious injury to hamsters. Hamsters that run in barbed or mesh wheels often get a condition called "Bumblefoot", which caused a huge swelling in their feet.
A ton of the featured cages also look way too small for the hamsters. Hamsters need a considerable amount of floorspace and pet shop cages often simply don't cut it (360sq inches in the minimum!!).

bella catlover yes it does. Hamsters take a lot of time money and effort I just don't think children can attend to. That's all I'm saying. For the hamsters sake I just hope you give him the love he or she deserves. No mesh wheels. A good cage. Safe bedding (no pine or cedar). And a healthy diet and exercise.
