    I normally don't comment, but you asked, so here it is. My days are so chaotic. Each and every one, even the ones I do nothing in, because they are not organized and I have no discipline in anything. God has been speaking the word Disciplime over me since 2022, and I have been ignoring it. While on a recent fast, He said that I can't get to what He has for me without intentional, extreme discipline. I gotta plan. Not knowing the first thing about this was discouraging, but here you are, giving me tips from your playback. I will try it all out, and see what works best for my situation! Thank you so much! Also, I needed the analogy of gratitude being the oil that lubricates my day!

    Good word. “A routine that works for you.” This is so good. I start most days in prayer and journaling with bible reading, no more than 1 hour. (Nothing deep) The days that my routine is off I had to learn not to feel guilty. I really do so much better at night. Girl for years I felt so bad cause I functioned better at a night time devotional. No more guilt; I do was effective❤️🙏🏽again thanks.

    Consistently oversleeping is not serving me well at all. I’ve been in the habit of staying up late and it makes the next day unnecessarily stressful. I plan to go to bed on time so I can get up on time.😊❤

    I wake up and pray, read the word of the day, read prayers and devotional then end in prayer. Get out of bed and turn on a good message while I start getting ready. Stretching, breakfast, shower, dress and out the door we go… setting the tone of my day had been a blessing over my life. I do hydrate with water all day.

    Prior to my retirement, when I woke up I immediately gave thanks to God. Then I listened to 'Grace For Purpose Prayers' on TH-cam. A Fabulous and amazing channel that includes scripture, lesson and prayer that has a theme of healing, worship, deliverance, testing of trials, etc. I pray usually before I get out of bed or immediately. It was important for me to give my time, my device, my coffee. Now that I'm retired, after I get up, I immediately go to my prayer closet and pray. If my husband hasn't made the coffee, I will listening to Grace for Purpose Prayers. Then I'll read, memorize, mediate and study in my bible and journal as well. Afterwards I'll pray about what I just study and ask the Holy Spirit to guide my day although I have things to do, what He has is more important. Starting my day with The Lord has made a world of difference for me while working and dealing with stuff, myself and the enemy. I'm more successful, peaceful and ready to stand when I start the day with God.

    Amen to early morning routines. I spent so many years thinking that what I *needed* was to sleep just another hour and then run around like an axe murderer trying to get everyone off to school and get to work on time. Then I needed to stay up super late, because I thought I needed just another show to get me relaxed. I was my own problem!

    WoW I start my day with a war cry and praise and worship. I thought that was working. NOT I've not sought the Father for my war strategies for the day. No wander too many times I'm not sure of the voices I hear throughout the day if they be the Father or Satan. Well, that change takes place tomorrow morning. My body clock is to rise at 4AM even while I'm in VA away from DC where my home, husband and children, grands and church are. It will be a year this Thu Aug 31,23. I've made this journey of caring for my 95 yr old mom much harder than it needs to be. Thanks Chrystal for being there!!!

    I wake up and make my protien shake and drink it while I study the Bible and journal. 2 days a week in the morning, I work out after my devotions. The evening is shower and brush my teeth. Then read. I haven't been sleeping well so I tried something new last night. I quoted in my mind every bible verse that I have ever memorized, and it sure helped me. I am going to do that more often.

    I'm awake @ 5:30am, devotional and get ready to go downstairs to the gym before I go I break my fast by drinking a shake. I don't eat anything after 6pm so by 6am I have my shake and hit the gym where I listen to you as I workout and then continue on my day with work and school and I end my night with a quick read in The Bible, I try and be in bed by 10pm

    🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Chrystal for the win y’all!!! Thank you so much for producing and sharing this life hack. I NEEDED IT! I used to have a routine awhile back and lost track of the track! Go figure. Only me. So, here’s what didn’t serve me well - not having my routine in my phone and dismissing its value for me! Having a loving plan that guides my weak days is SELF CARE! Tonight, that’s exactly where I took notes and I just believe the rest of this week will be better than the last 20! I’m here to reclaim and redeem time lost. Merci. Danke. Gracias. Plain ol’ THANK YOU!!!

    I start my day by opening the window just above my bed and look outside, still in bed, while listening to a worship song. Just looking - at the sunrise, birds and trees. Very calming but soon it will be still dark and too cold for this morning routine....😅
    I started this week a very new evening routine: I finish each day with the holy supper 🥖🍷🙏🏽 I wanted to try this and I have to say: it gives each normal day something special, something holy. It makes me looking back at my day and myself and giving each day to God.
    Apart from that I need a diffuser 🌺😄

    I start the day by thanking the Lord for the sunshine, despite the CRAZY HEAT. I stated a few other things I'm thankful for, then I get up and wash my face in cold water. I get my coffee and read a devotional. Then I have my prayer to get me through the day, especially since I work full time outside of my home. I end the day with gratitude by thanking the Lord for at least 10 things throughout the day and that helps me to fall asleep after my shower. I often have a sermon or some form of ministry like Chrystal, playing to give me additional relaxation for me to sleep.

  • @KristojayPaul
    @KristojayPaul ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Sheesh, I thought I was okay but...😄 I really appreciate this. In the mornings I spend time with the Lord in the Word. I meditate to hear clearly from the Holy Spirit. I write down what He says. I even ask Him what to wear that day to represent Him well. Since doing this my confidence has been boosted as He gives me ideas for mix and matches I never would have thought of myself. I also listen to a Christian motivation or Tony Evans TH-cam video and it gets me going. At night I read the Word and meditate, listen and write before going to bed. In the evenings I get home from work and spend 1.5 hours on my personal work/business that I have been building. Trying to stick to this routine as it works.

    I love these practical tips because we all need a good routine that works for us. Part of my morning routine is playing a few scripture based devotionals or christian youtube videos like yours when I'm having breakfast because they help to bring me back to who God has called me to be and sets my mind for the day. In the evening, I try to sleep listening to Worship Lullabies. They have them on TH-cam for kids but I am a child of God so I listen to them 😂😂

    This was excellent. I definitely am a routine person. I typically get up at 4:30am to get ready and meet my running group at 5am. I have a 5 minute "Our Daily Bread" devotional before getting out the door. I need to work on study time. I have been slacking this year. However, my hubby and I like to watch TV in the evening. I need to do something as soon as I get home from work. This is a great reminder.

    I try to do nature & chapter. Open a window/door and stare. I like trees and birds so I allow my eyes to wander, pay attention to my thoughts and gently beckon them back to meditation (when I can journal it sticks and blossoms). Sometimes I close my eyes and focus on distinguishing faint to clear sounds.
    The chapters these days are downsized to sections, now that I'm in the gospels.
    I've stopped pressuring myself into being consistent with how it looks to start right. Focusing more on on saying Good Morning to God first however that looks. He is gracious. We can be gracious too
    Finally gave in to share in the comments....btw all your videos are therapy!!! God bless you, Sis

    Hi Chrystal...I am a seasoned women. I start my day with prayer for my children, grandchildren, family members and myself.
    I do have a question...you mentioned you do yoga. I heard this activity is not for Christians and it calls evil spirits- not judging, just want to know the truth.

    • @elementaryfundamentals
      @elementaryfundamentals ปีที่แล้ว

      Yoga is slow movement and stretching which challenges different muscles. Any meditations depend on the individual or whoever is leading the group. Imagine what humans had to do before technology! We are so far removed from what God designed for our bodies

    • @ChrystalHurst
      @ChrystalHurst  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreeing with @elementaryfundamentals. Meditation is the issue. The physical aspects of Yoga are not problematic in and of themselves. Good question.

    • @Ayzlin
      @Ayzlin ปีที่แล้ว

      Each movement of Yoga has binding spirits attached to them. A certain move/stretch has a certain meaning (look it up). So it's not only about whether or not you meditate but there are binding yourself with spirits that have no business in God's kingdom. Same thing with using the famous enneagram. Also, something that has ties to evil.

    You manage device usage for college age children? How does that go over? I get its your house, so your rules but very curious about how that impacts their morning routines.

    My work schedule robs me of a rhythmic time in the morning.

      My rhythm doesn't have to be yours. You can find a rhythm that works for you... even one that rotates or shifts based on your work schedule :)

    Chrystal, I think someone is impersonating you in the comments of maybe your previous video. I received a response that was supposed to be from you. I couldn't imagine what I could have said to prompt a lengthy response. Then the response ended by asking me to call a number to make a donation to a charity. I clicked on the picture and found the person had no channel, no videos, then I noticed the name was chystalshurst. If this was you, I apologize.

      Thank you for letting me know! We are always working hard to fight off the imposters!
