Good message. When deciding if you have enough bandwidth for a new thing and if you need to let something go, make sure the new thing is what God wants you to do. If it is, He’ll provide the bandwidth whether or not He removes something.

Omg, Chrystal! Thank you! I laughed out loud at the canopy story because that literally was me this spring. First time hiring trimmers and I instructed them to raise the canopy, move away from house, but keep the shade. The number of times I came outside under restraint to ask him not to cut so much. I knew they knew what they were doing but it was painful. And when I stepped back I realized that he was preparing it for the future growth. Thank you for sharing, connecting the message, and convicting.
I am in a season of my last daughter turning 18 graduating high school.. I have raised two beautiful daughters with the guidance of Jesus Christ..I don’t like to say alone because Jesus said He is with me.. without Him I couldn’t have done it..I am single.. looking to moving to another state.. a new life new beginning.. now I have to find out about me..I can go on and on about this season Im in but I have a question to myself of: Now what? What do I do? I never thought i would react to my daughters getting grown..I thought my reaction would be different..so much to process

Great questions to process and bring to the altar. “You can wait for something in your life to crash and burn or you can decide to trim it”. I have a question: How do you identify the difference between dying grass that needs more sunlight and ends that need to be trimmed? To me they both are dying. How do I identify what needs to be cut and what needs sunlight?
This message has touched some trigger buttons at my core. And caused me to tear up cause I know God has spoken and is speaking through you Chrystal to me....actions need to be taken and I know what needs to be DONE, and I need to simply DECIDE to cut off some dead things first.
