Nice video all solid information. I am a long time player with high spec but like to play low tier, usually 5.1 sets. I do a lot of mists and here is how the math works for me. My set costs ~150k I die about 1 out of 4 mist runs (this would probably be a lot less if I was looking to avoid all fights but I take any fight I think I can win). When I don't die I pull out ~300k on average. So that is 300k * 3 - 150k or a profit of 750k every 4 runs. Ill also note Albion would be boring as hell if people were not trying to kill me. Love the comment about surviving being a skill. In normal black zone getting away from a gang of gankes after they spend several minuets trying to catch you almost feels like more of a win than getting a kill.

Yo this is actually informative especially the surviving part (next time) since im used to corrupted dung its hard to survive random rats running towards you on a winning 1v1

royal sandal assassin jacket scholar cowl ava fist or battle bracer invis potion and pork umlette no one can catch you even if they are blood letter and double bladed staff if you play right no one can get you also you can kill to many people with this sets like cursed staffs some of the shapeshifters ices even battle axes with ultimating and run away and regen if you know what are you doing its the best you can do as a solo player or new player
What weapon or set do you have a hard time fighting or just absolutely destroys you?
There is no weapon that flat out destroys the 1h spear but the hardest matchups are those who like to just stand in one spot, click their defensives and do a ton of damage such as fire staves and crossbows.
Yes I do have a problem with that when I have no clothes walking checking the place out they come and kill me for no reason I don't have a weapon or clothes on it still kill me I told him to stop but they don't listen naked guy is not a threat to them it means leave me alone I'm checking the place can you tell me why they keep killing me???
Your frustration is understandable. But I hope you can also somewhat understand the guys killing you. They do it for fun and it costs them 0 time or risk to do it. I'm not sure why you would end up in the mists without any equipment at all. Especially more than once.
never in my life i go even near those 1300 to 1700 ip guys ever. i just go bashing only the camps and go away, but they always jump and kill me. that is why I always give time to annoy them jusy like waiting near the high level mist special bosses or sometimes spider..😂 they always take my mist orb.

Btw you should use stalker hood skill more. Its just 15 secs cd without any cd reduction with torch you would have like 13 secs cd.

I would be generous and say that 10% do it for reason 1-2-3 , 90% doing it for 4th reason .

I don't agree with the percentages but I think you are absolutely right that there is this revenge dynamic going on where we all kind of take out the frustration of our own deaths on whomever we are able to kill.

Which I think also informs the general panic in the player base about venturing into red and black zones. Most people probably understand that until they "get good", they are in fact prey. So they exploit the RPG nature of the game to build their character up, which isn't wrong. It's just not completely right either, because the RPG aspect is part but not all of Albion. Understanding what fights to take or flee is a part of playing the game. Ratting is a likely unintentionally key aspect of Albion. Most importantly, trying your build against other humans, failing, and adapting, is the core loop of the game.
Your K:D will likely be sub-1.0 if you're playing correctly, and this is OK.
Albion is an engineering game, where you're engineering ways to shoot, blade, or magic other things away.
I mean people have to understand that Ratting is a thing that you can do, like ganking, roaming, etc in AO. ppl who come higher ip in mists are susceptible to get ratted or ganged up by other low ip players, it should be disclaimer fr mist players and it is lol , Ratting not a bad thing, it's just some streamers who get annoyed by them. Life is not fair so why should AO be.
Absolutely. Ratting is a valid choice. But being angry at rats is actually being angry at the fact that there isn't a better 1v1 game mode, not at the actual person ratting, i hope.
because they think even if you have bad gear you might have loot. it's why lethal isn't very good. sandbox is sandbox but most sandbox games give you incentive to do things besides just senselessly kill every person you see.

tldr ; 4.1 rats are more dangerous then u think so in order to make a safer mist for them selfs they kill all the posible danger

I just can't stand the mists lmao its literally all about fighting players and nothing about pve. You said ppl compete over pve in the mists however the camps everyone can do and the camps is where I get ganked the most lmao. Open world farming is better in my opinion unless you have silver to lose
Mist pve is ez just play a build with good mobilty like db, then almost no one can get you if you dont play dumb and if you are lucky you can find abby dungeons and make lots of silver in their.
In my experience the camps are by far the most dangerous, yeah. But other parts of the mists are pretty good for silver and fame.
I love the mists because of the pve and is, at least in my experience, safer that roaming because if you pay attention you can almost always get away from pvp
i understand you kill rat but a f trad that just kill a farmer do i not give much for i am 7 years in my self leave new players alone
I admit that a couple nature staff farmers were hurt in the making of this video :) But I think they will be ok.
i know alot of people that have left albion just becouse they stand no chance the first they try is get ruin 5 times an then they leave the game an not comming back

New players can stay in non lethal zones. I do not expect to go in T8 bz and farm whatever I want with cheap set and not be killed by gank groups. You should not expect anything different in mists
New players cant stay in safe zones. Safe zone mists are full of t8.4 guys who dont let you farm mist camps. Solo and corrupted dungeons are crap in safe zones. You can only make some silver in safe zones just by gathering. There should be ip cap for mists. At least in yellow zones.
