This made me weep as it reminded me about my conversion!! I relate to how you felt when you realised what the true Gospel was- that it was a great exchange, our sin put onto Him and His righteousness accredited to us! Where love and justice meet. Praise the Lord that I will see you in Heaven, worshipping the Lord for all eternity! May He keep you and bring you unspeakable levels of joy that comes with worshipping the Creator, and may He continue to grow you in the conforming to the image of Christ. Amen
Hi Lydia, amazing video as always! I always appreciate your transparency, it's so sobering to listen to honesty and the truths of the Gospel when everyday we are so surrounded by ideals of the world. I really relate to your testimony. I'm in my 2nd year of my degree now and I recall being younger and wishing I could rush ahead to university so I could control what I ate and no one could stop me, how incredible and beautiful it is that God found me at university and so truly saved me from a life of misery and struggle. I've just gotten back from my CU weekend away (Andy Bannister was our guest speaker!!!) and I have just been so reminded of God's love and the fruitfulness of life when you live for His glory! ❤ Have a wonderful week Lydia, thank you for sharing your testimony.
Sister, thank you for this video. Love to hear your testimony and how God has taught you truth about himself. Praise Jesus for his work of salvation! Love to hear your reflections on the prosperity gospel and suffering, and thanks be to God that he gives us himself as comfort in our suffering, and that our joy abounds in him no matter what we are experiencing. Being an MT the past few years has grown my faith and ministry so much, praying that it will do the same for you, and thanks be to him that you have this time to devote to serving him!
Thank you so much, for pointing out the flaws us Followers of Christ endure. Yes, the Bible helps us build a Christ-like and a positive mindset, but it can also be convicting because it shows that God is holding us accountable for our sins (in THE BEST WAY possible). May God bless you Lydia, and thank you so much for this video!! I really needed this..❤🙏
I resonate with so many parts of your testimony. I fell for the WOF movement early on in my Christian walk & it caused me confusion. I’m so glad that God rescued me from the false teachings I used to believe🙌🏻💕
@@ReformedChristianGirl My love, I am not a demon haha. Please do not rebuke your sister as such. :) I am by no means invalidating her walk, just sharing what I've experienced from my own journey! :) The Divine Liturgy has the real presence, body, and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and everything from our worship, to our traditions, to our practices are all scripturally, theologically, and historically based. Not only that, but we actually believe in just about the same things, we've just misunderstood each other a lot. :/ For example, EO does not preach a works-based salvation we just believe (like you all) that when we receive God's grace and the gift of the Holy Spirit we need to continually cooperate and live a Christian life, but our works do not matter either. I respect you very much because your heart is in the right place. I too was very against the EO church until God called me to join it. (And no, my sister, I was not deceived by satan.) Without fear, look into the truth that Orthodoxy contains. It's not true because it's a religion or church, it's true because our Lord Jesus Christ established it. God bless you, my sister.
@ i grew up nominally EO until I was born again . I also believe in true presence. The Reformed confessions condemn those that just believe that the Eucharist is a symbol. My view of the Eucharist is the Lutheran view, which believes that we truly receive the body of Christ, not just spiritually. The EO aren’t the only ones that believe in Christ being truly present in the Eucharist. The EO reject penal substitutionary atonement, which is the Gospel, so rejecting PSA is a false Gospel.

Sister, try attending Divine Liturgy. God bless you.
Don't try to lead the LORD's child astray. She clearly believes in the true Gospel as she explained in the video. EO does not preach the same Gospel.
