    I didn't dislike season 6, but it was just too compressed, there wasn't enough time to settle into a proper pace, it felt very rushed. But I loved it, especially the "strange dogs" plotline.

      I agree about the season being compressed and rushed. It really needed a full 10 episodes. It was good but could have been great.

    I mean there is a 30ish time jump in universe between this and the next book. My head cannon is that they are giving the actors time to age into their roles, I'm wait for the reboot in a decade or so.

      Another issue is that Amazon currently has exclusive rights to the show. Those rights will revert to Alcon Entertainment in a "handful of years," according to one of Alcon's executives. When they get the rights back, they can shop the show around to other streaming providers. Hopefully, other providers will see potential in it.
