Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison If you haven't seen those. Cable Guy, Liar Liar are great Jim Carrey movies. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Truman Show.
Fun fact: This movie, The Mask, & Ave Ventura all came out in 1994, making Jim Carrey the most popular comedic star that year and effectively kick-starting his career into overdrive. Those 3 successes are the reason we have such great films with him in it following that year.
More like Joe Biden and that other *dude* named Kamala Harris Actually, Biden is more like Mermaid Man since he's always forgets what he's saying lmfao it's spot on actually
@@tonymalagon9644 No, we just keep it truthful and not hide everything. Have fun staying brainwashed, the rest of us woke up ✌ Oh, and look what Jim Carey had to say about them lmao he knows too! It's not just me. You gonna call him names too?
One of my favorite movies. There are to many funny scenes to point out just one. The scene where Jim Carrey makes the most annoying sound in the world was improvised by him and you can see the surprise on Jeff Daniels face. Great reaction.
Not a Jim Carrey/Adam Sandler movie, but another 90s comedy that y'all should watch if you haven't yet is Tommy Boy with Chris Farley. A perfect buddy comedy.
One of my favorite comedy films of all time. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are such a fantastic comedy dynamic duo with great chemistry. The toilet scene still cracks me up to this day lol!😂😂😂. Great reaction John!
My two favorite bits were by Jeff Daniels. When he says his parakeets head fell off it makes me crack up, and when he launches a snowball at Lauren Holly's head in retaliation then tackles her. I think his delivery is up there with Leslie Nielsen.
At no point was this guy interesting or reactionary. These guys need real help if they want to continue. 2/10 effort, please hire better people, or train the peeps that you have. Do better....
At no point did I ask you to comment that shit on my comment, leave my boy John in peace, don’t get mad he didn’t react the way you want him to, he couldn’t afford reacting school but he’s doing his absolute best
This movie has the most comedic gold lines 😂. “I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this. "I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shit, man." 😂
The way Harry headshots her with the snowball is incredibly funny. Also, the blind kid petting the dead parrotkeet must be, both the saddest and funniest scene ever made :)
A Jim Carrey movie that is a must watch and a completely different role for him is Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Crazy cast and really unique concept of a movie.
This must be some new extended cut version because I've seen this movie more times than I can count, including in theaters, and I didn't recognize some small parts.
That's what I was thinking. Never once saw Harry dumping the toilet out the window and I've seen this way more times than I should have for how old I was when it came out.
9:26 I’ve always liked this scene because it’s essential for actually endearing you to these characters beyond seeing them as gags. You buy their genuine connection
Even when watching this as a kid when it came out this scene made me think Jim Carrey can do serious acting. He was just know for being goofy especially this movie, but that delivery made me believe this dude has dramatic chops and would transition over to serious roles one day.
I'm not sure where you all visited here in Colorado, but the fancy hotel outdoor shots in "Aspen" were filmed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park -the hotel that inspired Stephen King to write The Shining.
I can't think of a movie that I've pulled more quotes from in real live than this one LOL. BTW if you're a hockey fan... Seabass was played by Cam Neely, NHL hall of famer who played with Boston in the 80s-90s
It’s interesting witnessing the age divide. When they were laughing at the waitress’s name, Flo, you could see he wasn’t connecting to the joke about the show, Alice.
I must say... I have been subscribed since you had short hair... I have always loved you and Greg and this channel.. but I REALLY LOVE this channel since you and Greg started reacting to movies... just a bunch more fun!! Thx you guys!!
This must be the uncut version. In the theatrical version they cut out the Homo line from the bathtub scene and Sea Bass showing his thong underwear happy place. Lol
Great reaction! 😊 This is one of my favorite Jim Carrey movies. Another funny Jim Carrey movie that I highly recommend is "Liar Liar". And a great Adam Sandler movie that I recommend is "Happy Gilmore".
This is one of the best 90s Comedies. Jim And Daniel are so good and funny in this and work magic together. Lloyd And Harry are Human Versions Of Spongebob And Patrick. Never should've done a prequel and sequel, This movie is lighting in a bottle, Right place, Right time. One of Carrey's best and if you want to see his serious side please watch Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind if you haven't.
4:54 You'd be surprised. I used to work for DHL in '07, and I caught air with many a van, amongst various other automotive acrobatics. Once, there was a guy in front of me, in a Chrysler Crossfire, trying to show off for his girlfriend. He never got more than a car-length ahead of me.
Jim Carry fought to change the ending to the current one. He told the powers that be, Harry and Loyd would never actually be smart enough to get on the bus!
41:43 The ending was supposed to be Harry and Lloyd actually getting on the bus, but Carrey improvised that whole bit after chasing down the bus and the Farrelly's decided to keep it.
There is a symbolism in the movie. The restaurant where joe mentalino dies is called Dante's Inferno. When they arrive in Aspen the music talk about heaven.
The only problem is I noticed is it was the unrated cut of the movie- it’s probably not as big a deal if you didn’t grow up with the movie but I found the extended version with some different takes not as funny as the way it was originally.
It’s the unrated cut which was actually the only version released on Blu-ray for some reason. I’m actually not a big fan of it and think the original version plays better.
Love this movie. I bought the iconic photo of Harry on the toilet for my guest bathroom. That's what you're directly looking at while sitting on the toilet. 🤣
What!? How have you not seen it?! It's one of the best. This is the extended edition. The woman at the end said "hallå allihopa", that's Swedish. And she for sure sounds Swedish, but it seems she didn't tell anyone that that isn't grammatically correct. You can't say allihopa to just two people.
If you're a little more serious about film, Cable Guy is a must watch. It's a very funny dark comedy. I really think it's totally underrated. There's even a reference to an obscure 1970s Australian film (which I believe was the inspiration for the premise), the likes of Tarantino would have seen. I just subscribed by the way, and would love for you to react to some Australian content as you seem quite knowledgeable and analytical.
Hopefully it's the theatrical cut. The extended cut kinda drags and the extra jokes aren't worth the slower pace. But yeah, me and my friends growing up could basically act out this whole movie, we watched it so much.

The guy that Mr Mentalino punched, played the counselor in season 3 of Ned's declassified school survival guide

The “Harry, your hands are freezing” line is hilarious. And the cardigan joke, genius.
My favourite line of the movie. Unfortunately, it often gets missed or skipped.
"You've had an extra pair of gloves this whole time?"
"We're in the Rockies 🫤"

One of my all time favourite comedies! Quote it all the time, thrilled you’re reacting to it!!
How the HELL have you never seen this silly, amazing little classic? Just how??
I watched it in 2017 when i was 13-14

sure and there are kingpins.. and rocket man 1997
And "Almost Heroes".
great pick
Tommy boy is boring.
“Pull over!”
“It’s a cardigan, but thanks!”
That got me so good lol
I haven't seen this movie since I was younger and only just now got the joke. So brilliant.
"...for noticing!"
Fond memories of seeing this in the theater back in High School with my buddies.
One of my favorite comedy films of all time. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are such a fantastic comedy dynamic duo with great chemistry. The toilet scene still cracks me up to this day lol!😂😂😂. Great reaction John!
Apparently Clint Eastwood loves this movie and told Jeff Daniels that scene in the bathroom actually happened to him.
That's incredible
Everybody loves this movie
My two favorite bits were by Jeff Daniels. When he says his parakeets head fell off it makes me crack up, and when he launches a snowball at Lauren Holly's head in retaliation then tackles her. I think his delivery is up there with Leslie Nielsen.
I think John is trying to tell us he wants a pair of UGGs for Christmas
Let’s setup the gofundme
boys can't wear uggs it's illegal
UGGs are the fashion equivalent of putting pineapple on pizzas.

Yes it was. Just nonstop laughter.
Saw this 3 times in theaters. Classic for sure
Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly married after this movie. They had first met during auditions for Ace Ventura a few years earlier.
This is a classic in so many ways.
A Jim Carrey movie that is a must watch and a completely different role for him is Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. Crazy cast and really unique concept of a movie.

was thinking the same few scenes here that were not in the original theatre release..
This was from the extended version/director's cut.
Jim is one of the best actors out here. I seen this movie so many times and still dying at his scenes
I got one hour break on my work and saw this video of the movie and actor I love. It’s gonna be a good Wednesday

Great Reaction John, This movie is one of the best comedy movies I have seen
Sea Bass is played by a Hall of Fame NHL player Cam Neely. He played for the Boston Bruins. He's now the President of the Bruins.
Favorite comedy to this day. This is my favorite humor from Jim Carrey.
"I'm sick and tired of having nobody" Lloyd Christmas. Damn, this hit kinda hard...

"Sampsonite! I was way off." I quote this often, whether it makes sense or not.
Sampsonite is a brand of briefcases and Lloyd thought
that was the name of its owner. So he was _still_ way off. That's why it's funny.
