    Hi there! Really liked the video! And I definitely, absolutely love the idea for the tape measure, omgosh! I can't not for the life of me to find a cloth measuring tape without the plastic coating anywhere ! Well, now I know. Awesome ❤

    Love the idea of just pockets for sewing tools much neater than stitching pincushions ,scissor holders etc directly on to lining. The homemade tape is genius ( why didn’t I think of that😂) 🎉❤

      Thanks! I did pockets mainly because I'm so indecisive, I didn't know exactly where I would want everything! This way I could rearrange the items later.

    Ha! The face when you're talking about mending breaches. That's the face of someone who's seen things...
    The framing and lighting in your close up section is excellent!

    Very helpful as I go about making something similar. Thanks for the work you put into this. When I heard that you had worked at Williamsburg you immediately got a new subscriber! I visited once and had my outfit critiqued by the tailor. Thanks again for posting.

    I like it! ❤ Will look at your other one now, I do a lot of embroidery in the car while travelling and that would be very practical to hold all the tools!

      Mine usually sits on the arm of the couch next to my usual spot these days, so I can hand sew while watching TV. Sometimes it gets bundled up and brought with me to the park with my kids, and I'll embroider on a park bench while they play. It's really very versatile!

    Love how comfortable you are in this dress. So often I see folks working in historical sites or ren-faire who you can see this isn't their choice. The one good thing about quarantine is how many history folks I see on here now.

    I just loved this video so comforting sounds odd to say comforting but with world in such chaos this brought me back to normal I am going to try to make one first both my daughters and then for me😊

    Hi, really nice housewife ! May I ask where the fabrics come from ? The blue one especially 🤗

    • @LatelyFashionable
      @LatelyFashionable  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh, I thought I answered that in the video! They are both scraps from 18th century gowns that I made when I worked in the costume shop at Colonial Williamsburg.

      @@LatelyFashionable sorry If I put my foot in it. The music was loud, and I would rather listen to you, you are much more interesting, and informative. Great vid otherwise.

      Thank you for your kind words. I have since learned to not put music under my speaking segments. I was still somewhat new to video making in 2020, and it is a steep leaving curve! 😆
