I just started talking Jardiance. I take it in the morning with an extra glass of water. It makes me pee quite a bit, that's why it's better to take it in the morning.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by empagliflozin cannot be taken below a GFR of 45 mL/min? How does one know what their GFR is? Also, I thought empagliflozin was beneficial for heart health, but you listed contradictory side effects
I used Forxiga 10mg but it didn't help me down my Hb1ac. I took it with Glimipride. Now my doc gave me Ozempic with Metformin. Current medicine helped me to control.y hunger but gave me sever diarrhoea. Now my Doc thinking of giving me combination of Ozempic plus Jardiance..don't know what to do☹️
I currently taking jiardiance 25 mg, trulicity 1.75, Metformin 1000mg2xa day….My A1C 12.3….went down 6.9 after 3 mos…now my a1c is 6.6 after 9 mos of medication….I dont exercise.

My doctor prescribed me Jardiance, but I take once a day before I go to bed. I didn't question it, but I am asking you why in the morning?
because it makes you go to wc alot so taking it at night will be very anoying
