You guys should give up on that game and stop supporting the devs, they haven't respected you and been transparent whatsoever.
First, they said it might release in 2019. Then, they said 2020 would be more accurate. Then, they said it was indefinitely delayed. Now? Well, they haven't said anything since that time in 2020. I stopped believing in 2022, we're halfway through 2024 and still no sign of the game coming out anytime soon.
IF it does come out, I guarantee you it'll just be like Hollow Knight with little to no difference. I'm sure many of you will be satisfied with that, but considering the amount of time they've taken with the game, and the increased resources they've gained from Hollow Knight, "just another Hollow knight" is not enough.

Didn't think I'd be too interested in Xbox with some of the things they've been doing lately, but a couple things surprised me: Expedition 33 - a turn-based RPG. Love those. South of Midnight- I was wondering what happened to that game. They showed a snippet last year and never heard nothing else then

Man, that South of Midnight has got me wanting to get an XBOX! Not sold completely on the gameplay just yet, but the setting, art style, myth/folklore, and the MUSIC are hitting all the right notes! Why can't Microsoft let this one come to PS5??! Hope this game becomes a hit.

@TriopsTrilobite I'm just saying those are what I'm waiting for that aren't coming out as far as we know, there isn't much on Xbox that I desperately need/want that is procrastinating itself into oblivion, I'm just saying what me as a pc gamer am waiting for, I'm fully aware that take 2 and ea/respawn are not part of Microsoft only eager for their next game (and disappointed in Respawn's case for essentially pulling a Rockstar/Valve and not releasing a new game in years and hardly ever updating the original one or giving any heads up about incoming updates or the next game (TF3) and instead putting (as far as we know) all efforts into a spin off Battle Royale.

At this point people are more excited for silksong than GTA 6
I've always been a supporter of the Series S as I feel it is priced correctly for what it is and it's a good entry point for casual gamers and people that simply want a game pass box. For the RRP the Series S is trying to hit, I feel not having a disc drive makes sense, but if you're already planning to spend $450 on a Series X, just spend the extra $50 and get the one with the disc drive. Games are almost always cheaper on physical media, so you'll end up saving way more than the $50 you initially saved on the console, and unlike the PS5 digital edition, there's no option to add a disc drive later on, so it's worth paying a little bit more up front and keeping your options open in the future.

If they "take too long", you complain, if they ship it early , you say "I can't believe these lazy devs released an unfinished game!". The only people that are overpaid are the clout chasers on twitch that sit there and watch these streams and criticize these games and these devs potentially killing their game long before it arrives, getting paid a gajillion times more than the devs ever will and saying they help the industry because of "free advertising of the game". If you constantly hound me to pay you or show me ads or tell me to buy your merch or to get sponsorships, it's not free. If YOU were even somewhat of a gamer, YOU would understand that, you're mad at the wrong people. But while you're waiting, why not play one of the 400 other games you have sitting in a library somewhere while you wait for other games to be developed? It's amazing how gamers "respect the industry and the devs" until it's inconvenient for them personally. Also, anyone who says "show gameplay" for the trailers shows even more that they don't understand the industry. You want games to be developed faster but you want them to show off an old build and get it in a state where it works enough for a trailer? Sounds like a waste of time.

Because they spent 80+ billion to buy the companies that were already making those games. Now they just get to slap the Xbox label on it. And you say their cooking but Xbox cant be trusted. They may not come out or they come out and then the studio gets shut down a year later.
Well, considering recent decisions, they're gonna have to work to clear up the crap their recent decisions made, more than just making new games.
Xbox smart with their game pass structure. Let everyone play the games, and xbox users with game pass just have it for free. Great thing they got going.

What we won't talk about are the thousands of people we've fired the past 6 months and all the studios we've closed that we bought out. Some have created some of the best games on the market and some created the best games ever made. We didn't care about any of that, we just cared about the bottom line for our shareholders and how to maximize the profit margins in our favor. Hope you enjoyed all the games and remember that we'll probbaly close these studios too once they finish the games they're working on.

Perfect Dark looks like what Mirrors Edge 2 could have been. Also Doom gameplay looks awesome. The person in a dress in Fable is an interesting design choice
To be honest this has reinforced my commitment to Xbox. No metro but stalker will hopefully hold me over. Quality single player experiences is what I want and they delivered.
I'm watching this, but as a gamer for more than 40 years, I no longer genuinely believe Microsoft has *any* genuine interest in gaming, or its XBox division. Even the list of games here is largely derivative, and not exactly overburdened with innovation or creativity.
Amazing showcase! Cant wait for LiS's true sequel, Fable, Mixtape, MSFS 2024, State of Decay 3 and Avowed! This was genuinely stacked with bangers Im so excited for man! My wallets gonna be hurting the next year or so trying to grab all these!

Perfect Dark looks pretty cool ngl, but they need to make it and a new 007 game with the same kinda hand/gun controls as the originals had, and the TimeSplitters games... like how the character will move their arm themselves to aim at enemies within the players general aim.. this feels soo good when goin back.. feel more like the character, more visceral and less generic feeling imo. I think only one indie game has done something like this again. I mean this is why Metroid Prime feels soo good as well.. you are Samus in first person!!! You were Joanna to some degree in first person, she reacted. All said it does look like she has some kind of quick snap aim she can use when looking in the direction of enemies, wonder if this is because of what I'm talking about above.
