No, his win was mainly due to the second-place driver, who couldn't keep up, not moving out of the way, holding up others who might have challenged the leader. Ideally, in this short of a race, if you can't catch the driver in front, move over to give anyone trying to pass a chance. A longer race (more time to pass) would reduce this problem.
looks like to me the only way to advance in position is for the person in front crashes. the track needs to be longer and have some straightaways to give everyone a better chance to pass
Nice work, but if anyone wants my criticizm it's they need a track that isn't constantly turning. Even lawnmowers like this need more room to operate. That's how it looks to me anyway.
Yes and no. They do but not like that of a car. The clutch when pressed loosens the tension on the belt and engages the rear (on most mowers) brake. No doubt it has the same principle of disengaging the power of the motor.
track much to small for racing or 100mph burst in such a short distance they would have to be super super super modified engines to get 100mph in what looks like about a 100 foot stright away
Don't know if the mower out front was that much faster than the rest but the driver hit his marks every time. Great driving man.

No flatheads here. The MODIFIED CLASS ran the V-Twin OHV. The flatheads can be found in the STOCK and SUPER STOCK CLASSES.
This looks fun, i'd love to race one!
is that the general lee in front?
this is like mariokart real life, it's AWESOME!
Is your account still active? Just wondering
man i miss building the little flatheads for all these crazy folks....radical racing jax fla
how does one get it to go that fast? i have a old 5 speed craftsman and this looks like fun
I'm guessing they have to modify the engines or put a new engine in the lawn mower.
pulley swap
Flip your pulley twice the speed
Money 💰
where Is this? I'd love to go!
I'm thinking of modifying one. any tips?
man I cant wait to get my mower out on the track.

some of those looked like they was running a manual clutch are they?

Not on these - most of these have a 1:1 gearbox and a centrifugal clutch with a disc brake on the rear axle.
its sad how in the us they can only turn left
I came here because of the game WreckFest
I gotta admit drew Terry #13 did pretty good
are theses still belt driven
Yes they are
They also look about as fast as our flatheads LOL
Bike Speedway has 4 riders for 4 laps. Less mowers would mean less collisions.
Your no fun
holy crap!!!!! they fly
This is no 100 miles an hour looks like 40 to 50 mpjh
If the 913 wouldn't have had the spark plug broke he probly had finish good
General Lee got the win!
