Just before the President’s meeting which brokered peace, members of the Rivers State House of Assembly who defected to the All Progressives Congress rejected calls to declare their seats vacant.
The lawmakers defended their decision to leave the Peoples’ Democratic Party at a rally in Port Harcourt organized to officially welcome them into the party.
