My Question is, When you Export the Mogrt, How do you lock the Mask so that you can put the text animation to different areas of the screen.?? Because the Mask will not follow the text

Love the intro! Haha. This is incredible. All this time I've been doing textboxes where I manually adjust the background box to fit the text without realizing I can simply add a Background to the text layer so the box can auto-adjust... Thank you for this in-depth guide!

Yes! Premiere mogrts are limited, but once you get a handle on how it all works, you can make some super fast Pr mogrts. That’s one downside of AE mogrts, they cause more render time!

There were so much more options what we could do with the text itself in the old title tool... I just want to stretch or squish some letters... basically changing their aspect ratio. If essential graphics uses vector, this should be possible but i can't figure it out...

hello Mam One thing essential graphis panel missing that was when we create titles in legacy we have lot of readymade title which essential don't have. Another thing I want to emboss my font which was not in essential graphics. Readymade styles saves lot of time.

legacy titles have readymade style effect like gradient , emboss, which essential graphics don't have
Hi Kelsey, I watched this video months ago and got so much from it. Now I wanted to go back and clean up my "browse" window inside of the EG panel in Premiere. I navigated to the Motion Graphics Template folder as per the tip at 24'48" of the tutorial. I found the folder but it is empty... Where do you think they have gone? Any additional ideas?
Amazing Video, I have a question... Every-time I import folders with MOGRT, everything seems alright just like the video, but when I close the Premiere Pro and reopened again Nothing in essential graphics panel was saved, is there any solution for this issue? thanks
Is there a video update? Premiere Pro Beta 2024 does not seem to have an essential graphics panel.
Can the graphics be added to the timeline using IN and OUT points instead of drag and drop?

thanks for all your valuable info! ...troubleshooting question...my premiere pro doesn't have the vertical and horizontal center icons in the align and transform/essential graphics panel (timecode 7:10 of your video)...I just got off a remote call w/ adobe support and the rep said it was removed from the current version of premiere pro (v 23.1.0)...do you still have access to them in your updated premiere pro? any tips on how to display them on my end?

24:22 is there any way to auto-unselect previos chosed category in dropdown menu, when you select other one? I have fire, water, wind - when select fire, after use it I select wind and for some reason fire still selected. It's very annoying.

In a couple of your videos you align text using the Vertical & Horizontal Center icons (shown at 7:08). I don't have these icons. I have the 6 individual icons that do Left, Center, Right. But not these. Has this been removed from the most recent version of Premiere?
I have the same issue...i spoke to an adobe rep and he said they were removed...i asked Premiere Gal if that's also the case for her?

I'm confused regarding the shape layers in the essential graphics panel, when I want to add keyframes to the shape I created in the essential graphics, I can't drag the shape layer to the timeline as a clip, so I cant modify or adjust or animate it, I don't know how to make it an independent object from the rest of the whole text graphics I'm working on... its like they're all grouped together in the essential graphics panel with all the the other graphics... :I help!

While these videos are awesome ... and Kelsey I continuously learn from your knowledge, wisdom, and experience ... I'm finding myself leaving the videos early because of the background music. If background music helps people while they are learning why don't teachers play background music in school. Serious question if I may? Why do people use music in the background ... people don't use music in the background when they do live webinars!
Hey Tom - Thanks so much for feedback! I choose very chill and lofi music, at a low level, to make it more relaxing throughout. That said, not everyone likes background music. This is TH-cam so we can have more options for educational content. Live webinars requires some special software to play music while you stream. But for in person classrooms, I’m sure if the teacher played some lofi music in the background it might be nice. I guess no one has tried it. Studies have shown that music can help with focus and make it more fun, but not for everyone and I completely get that. One thing I’ve learned on TH-cam is I can’t provide everyone with everything, but if you’d prefer a music free version or the full script to read I can provide it to my patrons : patreon.com/PremiereGal

Glad I found you. Excellent info and nicely presented. Question. I'm running a iMac Pro (2017) - 128 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 - Radeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB and using mogrts is painfully slow. Slow to drag into a sequence (basically gets to 89% and pauses for about a minute before dropping on the sequence) and very slow to render and export a movie. These are mogrts from Storyblocks and pretty consistent no matter which one I use. Seems like I have enough processing power. Any thoughts? Appreciate what you do!

This also has me wondering why I'm making lower thirds in AE 1st when in Premiere you can pin and have lines of text adjust to other lines of text and shapes adapt to lines of text.

Is it best to built these in Premiere or After Effects?
Some mogrts you dont get an animation preview. is that in the file or ppro?
The preview is only available to mogrts designed in Premiere Pro or bought from Adobe Stock templates
I have a essential graphics template sent to me by an employer, and I swear, the animation is NOT smooth... it's all jiggly; what's up with that? I'm pretty sure there's no "jiggle" effect, so why is it so crappy?
