Kirzy - Someplace Else (with Eric Sijpestijn)

Someplace Else is a song I wrote over lockdown. I was on my roof terrace looking at the sky on a boiling hot summer's day in Corralejo, Fuerteventura and I could see the moon and thought how strange it is that the moon is always thought of as something of the night but it's often out in the day but seems out of place when you look at it in the blue sky. And then I thought some people are like that too; they seem to be in the wrong place than where they should be and I wrote this song starting with the words "You're like the moon in the clear blue sky, you're there but I don't know why".
