On the picture on the street with the sun star, were you trying trying to balance the shadows/red brick with the reflective blue windows and thats why it might not have worked with the subject in the lower center? I ask because she is aligned with the reflected sun star and I am curious about artistic choice between a right angle vs isoceles triangle.
Hi Everett, the choice about getting the subject where she is instead on the middle is to give her head a darker background so the rim-light on the hair outlines it better. The kind of triangle is quite irrelevant in my opinion, you have to balance all the elements in the frame. Thanks for your question!
