I get why kawa did this, superbikes are not a viable large scale production market. So use Bimoto to build modern chassis etc liw production higher $$. Hopefully they ACTUALLY upgrade that super old engine. Wish Kawa was back with real $$ and effort in gp and sbk
They did it cause dorna an fim keep giving them heavy restrictions on the current Zx10rr an killing all there sales especially in any type of Sbk racing. I know tht Zx10rr isnt as slow as wsbk make it look against tht cheat v4r crap. Thts why dorna give the zx10rr lowest rpm limit allowed in wsbk.
Bimoto is low production $$$ bikes, basically only superbike market that exists. Because all the GP and Sbk fans arent enough to sell millions of bikes kawa isnt interested gives them option to upgrade bike but charge more= you can do more upgrades and compete w/o having to make profit selling 100,000 bikes no one buys anymore
