I'm saving up for either inktense or Albert durer, I haven't decided yet, I got the coliro watercolors, which I love and the jellyroll, also love because of you, I may pick up some of those dark colors by luminance, I'm always wishing I had a darker green or brown, Thank you for recommending those❤❤❤

I love your videos, they are short and informative! I can learn way much more from your half an hour video than hours of speed colorings or pencil swatching! I also love that we can get collection of wide range of colors from different sets without owning full sets by listening to your recommendation. However, i have question. Where do you use your acrylic markers. You mentioned they are not as opaque as pens. Do you use it dor backgrounds or masking lines?
Hi !!! Thank you so much for leaving me such a wonderful comment !!! And i agree with you lol !! Id rather people get straight to the point ! Lol.. i dont watch long winded videos lol, as far as the acrylic markers. The markers i use to color and i have a video on how i do that called “how i use arrtx acrylic brush pen markers” something like that , just scroll through my videos and you will find it. The actual acrylic paint pens i use for covering up lines, those are the ones you have to shake and pump, and sometimes i also color with them, but mostly for lines. Hope that helps !!
Oh and i too swear by an electric sharpener!! Must have. One thing is mine is only plug in. It’s afmat .. I been eyeing one they came out with over summer that is rechargeable!!! No constant plug or batteries!! Anyway yeah. Id love to be able to take it outside or another room. Ect.

Ohh!! Thank you for saying that the Supra's are softer that AD's. I prefer a softer option always!! And, I was just at Marshalls and saw those acrylic drawers and thought they looked like just the right size for my neo's!! So, I am glad you said that. How many drawers would I need to hold the whole set? You're the best, as always!! Happy holidays dear. 🤍🌲
I would say one drawer set fits them ! I use another little tray inside one of the drawers to separate some of the colors, but if you want more separation of the colors than 2 , have a wonderful break and hope it’s relaxing!

Great video. I had no idea you could seal Pan Pastels with the Golden Satin Glazing Liquid. I'm assuming you could also do the same for regular pastels and pastel pencils. Does it leave any brush marks when it dries? You mentioned it would work for sealing the oil pastels too. Would love to see a video of it.💖💙💜💛🧡

Hi Maia!!! Great video 😊 the timing was great too for me. I was coloring in a Lulu Mayo book & wanted to use watercolor pencils. I own the Inktense & about 70 Albrecht Durer. I could not find any soft pastel colors in both sets lol. Ended up using some Artxx and my only Prismacolor lol. The page took me forever!!!! Thanks to you, I will look into the ones you mentioned. Ya i love prismas they are amazing. The Satin Glazing liquid from Golden can probably be found elsewhere under another name, try looking for Slow drying Acrylic extender or for “clear gesso” , those should work too. It's always fun to know what other people's favorite art supplies are. I have a 24 set of Prismacolor and to be honest, I don't like them. They're small, they break a lot and too soft for my likings. Here in Europe they are very expensive, my Polychromos did cost me less. The Inktense pencils are my all time favorite, they sit in a wooden box and every time I open it I love the way they smell :)
Hi Karen !! I agree with you Inktense are absolutely wonderful !! They are up there with prisma for me !! Im always surprised to hear when people dont like prismacolors !! I know they are expensive in Europe unfortunately ! Here they are very cheap in the states. Prismas need to be burnished with either a light pencil or the blender pencil, otherwise you dont get their full potential. Have you tried the Koh i noor polycolor ? I know they are more available and inexpensive in europe. I recently ordered them all the way from Poland. Happy coloring to you hun !

Do pastel alcohol markers bleed through? I have a cheap set of alcohol markers but I don't like how they bleed through the paper. I agree about pastels. Thanks for this, I have been watching quite a few of your videos lately, you have lots of good suggestions.....Edited to say I viewed the clip further after my post and understand the ohuhu alcohol markers do not stain the next page, but I am supposing they still stain the back of the page one is coloring on (?)
Hi Eve !!! Yes all alchohol markers bleed to the back of the page !!! So only use alchohol markers on single sided pages ! (Some cheaper alchohol markers will also stain the following pages over time but not ohuhu) hope that makes sense !!! For double sided books use waterbased markers and test them on the paper to make sure they dont ruin the back side of the page.
I mentioned that the acrylic paint pens were about 11$ from Amazon. Also a smaller set of prismacolors are inexpensive here in the US, like the 24 set. But my favorite budget set of pencils ✏️ are the brutfunner squares. I can do a favorite budget friendly supplies video if you’d be interested in watching that.
