Ah that’s bad news about your pal, I hope whatever has happened can be sorted for him, good to see you taking an apprentice on, young blood needs to be coming through all of the engineering industry, my youngest has secured a 2 week work experience placement at local Scania workshop, all of his own back too, excellent achievement for a 14 year old, I’m proud of him, looking forward to next video boys
You and your team are knocking things out of the park. The young apprentice will learn lots from Cal & yourself. You will need bigger premises the way you are progressing. You have some very interesting friends.
One of your hardest workers is that little forklift.
Worth its weight in gold.
Keep up the great videos.
I came here after watching The Digger Girl at Scot Plant.
agreed I will never sell it
Leaving school and starting work right away is the best way. Got a 15 year old do the same. finished school this week in Scotland. Shes 16 in a few weeks but thankfully found a place willing to take her on a few weeks early and put her through her apprentice.
Note to school leavers. Don't be shy. Ask if people will take you on at 15. A willingness to learn and work really does well for your chances.
You will be getting your own chopper next can give us all a lift into hill head next year 😂 top video again Baz keep it up !
Nice machine there for sale for you boys. I'm sure you could convert it to a car dismantler no problem.
John wouldn't be happy with the price 😮 Heeeee
@bcb you are after a new machine Just get baz to convert it
Thanks james now that would be great eh.... just getting round to reply's....
I can't see u guys in that workshop for long,,,,, your gonna need double that shortly, great work guys
Great to see that table being used Baz.. life is short and fragile bud.. make every day count.. all the best Gilly
Gr8 to see a bizy workshop plenty sparks grinding welding trailers nice big gift m8
Looking like you have a good team er BAZ
Brilliant baz nice to see things going strength 💪 to strength for you guys
I still say you could fill aircraft hanger with graft ❤
Another great watch before my 12 hours shift on site today! Can’t wait to see how your apprentice develops 👌 I done exactly the same after finishing school, straight into an apprenticeship best thing I’ve ever done! Big respect for you taking him on and doing your bit to help keep the trade alive and thriving 🤝
Looks like you'll fast outgrow that building. Fabricators who do quality work when they say they'll do it is as rare as hen's teeth, so this venture is sure to be a success. Honestly, Baz needs to think bigger than just working for hourly wages. Needs to sell and develop equipment so he can have a constant stream of work/income and not constantly hustling for work. Callum needs to be more involved in sales/pricing so he can step in whenever Baz is busy, but that will come soon enough.
Your little fork truck is certainly earning its keep, best gift ever! Great stuff with taking on an apprentice, the lad is going to learn lots from Cal and yourself 👍. Speaking of Cal, he definitely looks like he made the correct decision in going with you into the new venture - he’s as happy as a sand boy there 😀. Best wishes and hopefully a speedy recovery to your pal, life is indeed too short as you say.
Baz both you and cal defiantly look in a better place mentaly. Cals cheeky wink and grin every time he sees you with the camera defiantly is saying I'm home we have made it and I love it 😅
Baxenden car breakers need to buy that machine! 👍
My first thought when I saw it aswell 👍 Big money thought
It's great to see you've taken an apprentice on. It's important to invest in young people for the future. The lad looks very enthusiastic and keen to learn.
I had some fantastic lads who came through as apprentices and stayed with the organisation.
Give the lad my very best wishes he's in a great place to develop a successful future.
Thank you, Baz for providing this opportunity
BAZ please get your apprentice a face shield for when he's grinding. 29.05 in today's video.
Good man taking on apprenticeship Sam seems steady lad good luck with everything good role models call & baz wish u all great success
Bigger shop looks like it was tailored for you. It was such a good decision to take it.
Watching as your business is growing is really satisfying.
👋 ✌️ 👌
Wasn't disappointed, thanks for sharing, looking forward to the hill head stand alone video next
HI BAZ and director fanatic video again Nice to see you take on an apprentice it is nice to see you helping the young to start work good luck to you all
Hay baz it's nice to finally see your bro and his work force in the shop it's gone from just u and cal to a hive of activity and I hope things get better for your mate sorry to hear that I found out the other day a mate of mine had passed away
Sam, you have a terrific opportunity. Baz has high expectations, but he'll teach you what you need to meet them.
Great content guys,it must be such a good feeling having your brothers around doing what you do best together.....the old man will be watching down & be proud of his lads im sure👌
These are getting better...im loving them....top geezers all of the crew...but the OG..is the director !!
I only subscribe to wharts and all channels, probably may never weld myself but do find what you do fascinating, keep up the good work Baz,Director and Cal❤
Fantastic episode, Baz. Love ya videos. Amazing how well you boys are doing in such a short space of time. Excellent video & editing as usual. Top notch.
proper mon - banging !
Morning crew, I would put money on Sam to, hobbies like stock cars and dirt bikes build character. All the best Sam in your career path.
As much as the practical and work side of these vlogs interest it’s the personal side and a rising tide floats all boats side that I enjoy the most it’s not common enough in this world.
Hopefully your mind set rubs off on others not blessed with that outlook. 👏😉
Well Baz you are making it happen. And are looking at a apprentice. Everything moving in the right direction. Sorry to hear about your friend. Chin up lad. 👍
Brilliant episode Baz, it's great to see how fast your business is growing, obviously your reputation does you credit
great job guys need a bigger workshop already😂😂
Great Chapter Baz. Wish there were a few more people out there giving youngsters the chance to hone their skills. All the very Best to you and your Team.
Brilliant to see the unit so busy and full of bodies ,keep smashing it guys nice to see Baz smiling and laughing you next Cal 😀
I will help you to grow your video view through makings thumbnail😊
Absolutely flying, smashing the work out and giving the youth of today a chance to train up with an experienced team 💪
for the kids in the chat, go to school, learn something, hopefully find something your brain enjoys learning! I'm sure Welderfabber believes in this too. I say this because work will always be there as an adult, no need to short yourself on your own education and personal devellopment just to work 12hrs a day when you dont need to. If you are blessed to have an opportunity to finish your studies and do not want to continue on to University then by all means go hard in a Trade.
Good morning team bloody good show best on TH-cam how was hillhead show 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing guys, stay safe and keep busy, have a great weekend.
You know what I like about the apprentice, as soon as you finished talking to him and you walked off the first thing he did was put his safety glasses on. Now I work in a different industry and I’m constantly telling the lads to put there glasses on, but he put them straight on without questions. Now that’s a sign of a good respectful apprentice attitude. I love how far you’ve become and seeing a workshop with a full crew is amazing regardless if half blokes are yours and other your brothers. Well done Baz. I’d love to work with you as a steel erector. Keep it up pal x
Firstly Baz I hope you get some better news when you see your friend. How lovely to see a busy workshop and Sam just starting out on the long journey in fabrication and all the skills that’s needed.
@@johnpeplow3985 why you replying to my post lol
@@XLbullyZeus Sorry XL it’s an age thing.😂😂
M8 a bit metal eye n brain hemorrhage ect guys lads n lassies don't even realize get that eye er😅
Hes a good lad
Workshop looking very busy. Just a small advice-can see a lot of fumes building up in timelapse, might be worth installing a fan in top of rhat back wall for some air movement. Not bad for welders with filtered air fed masks, but might affect others in building. I’ve had an itchy throat once or twice over the years because never had an air fed mask and retired now at 40 due to disability. Pushing my son in that direction and he just got a contract for his apprenticeship with Mansfield Pollard. Agree with you that more youngsters need to get in to welding game because that trade will always be needed. Keep up the good work lads.
vent is on the list of many things like mez floor of welding bays, crane, dry stores, outside fence, outside racks... 1 day at a time
My god mucka how fast things have come on . In a world of doom it's fantastic to see a company take off. Great kit and great people in one place and family too. As always stay safe guys. Hope you enjoyed Hillhead with The Struggler and Co.
All the best to you 👍👍✊
thanks bud and we did enjoy it
Another great video Baz... Keep up the great work
Was he on scrap Kings with the big guy who was on a few episodes back
Aye Pete marquis 😂😂
Now that's how it's done. And a new apprentice seams like a good lad well done lad for joining the team. More jobs coming in thanks to social well done BAZ/CAL and your bro with his workforce great chapter stay safe all. 👍👍👍👍
Absolutely
Another awesome video, thank you baz & The director & Callum .great work everyone
Our pleasure!
Would you guys be willing to come see us in Stafford, we’re wanting some Moffet kits welded on to a couple of trailers. Appreciate if you’re busy but thought I’d ask the question.
Drop me an email mate baz@welderfabber.uk
Hi Baz, great vlog as always👍. One question, are you going to get a table laser cutting machine like Ollie’s at Snowball Engineering? Just thinking about all those cut plates for the wash ramps etc? Or is it cheaper to get them ordered already cut to size? 👍🇬🇧
maybe keep watching...
Can see and your brothers outgrowing that workshop before end of year. Loving watching the journey. Sending all the best to your friend
Much appreciated
Nice to see the unit so busy, so much noise and life in there now. Signs of a busy company. Smashing it lads, go on 💪🏻
Legend!
Keen to see the you b fellas welds 👍🏼👍🏼 that clip as a 4 year old was classic.
You know it’s going to be good when there’s a helicopter
Looks like the young lad has landed on his feet working in a great team. I can only see it expanding and the workshop is starting to look a little cramped.
we'll make it work when we get round to organizing proper, maybe a second floor full of welding bays...
Brilliant work as usual, I wonder if we can have a Sunday episode as well after Ashvilles , that would make me complete
bloody hell... its hard for 2 a week we cant even get that done danny has 3-5 guys filming his stuff, just director holding it down here.
Hello my Friends, shop is coming right along.....best wishes from Florida, Paul
Another great video Baz and how long will it be before you need even more space mate 👍
Your dead right about the youngsters mate, lads who've grew up on farms or messing with cars and trucks from a young age are always way ahead when it comes to apprentices, that and interest in what their doing, motivation and a desire to learn 👌🙂
Yeah we are keeping dans old unit, so we should be ok for a while.
Mate look how busy your shop is after only couple months. Awsome to see you and cal doing great things together
Thanks 👍
Love the brother love er boys 😅
Keep it gone bhoyz
That looks like suspiciously like a Gazelle Helo Baz flashbacks to South Armagh and hedge hopping in a Lynx at full pelt 😉👍🏼
Should you boys not be slowing down given we are in a recession and the £ is plummeting into oblivion 🤷🏻♂️
So good to finally see great progress with your project and productivity Baz 👌🏻 hope to see a full apprenticeship working with skilled guys like Cal & 28 Fab! TH-cam family growing 🎉Oh and come on welding ladies, love to see one mixing up with all the men keeps then on their toes 😂
How's it going Baz look after your equipment endure equipment will look after you
I used to make the r400x chassis, worked for a subcontractor in N.I who in turn supplied them to Terex.
Took 7 days to tack up and weld for 2 men was speedy enough turnover. Was good money at the time.
Did that for 3 years a while ago now out on my own as well. What you think of my welding and fab baz haha
would be fantastic to meet you and Dan from ashville when you go to crown agregates its on the road
i live
We are done there for now but lots more work coming from them
Wow never seen demo equipment in great condition like that . Usually it’s at Euro Auctions Leeds looking like it’s done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson
Cookies sort that ram no bother
Your friend Howard Scott has 2 extras, 1 on the Croucher (that mag belt) & 2 on the tracks of those machines (that are for sale) there are some sort of guard on the tracks - both ends. I take it that ,that is for a reason possibly to prevent excess dirt sticking to the tracks. what would you say they are for? He wouldn't have put them on there if there was no advantage.
6:36 Anyone else thinking about Daniel ? He mentioned he wanted backup in his new yard IIRC
Quality content baz as always. good to see everything you do and what others do that appear on the channel. as are the holy drinks being in construction can be very demanding some days and flavours are 💯 + great little discount codes also cheers baz m8 👍

Is insurance not a problem for young fellas, schools should do more in the form of app ,so the young see if like an what they like

Good to see you remind the lad to put his gloves on working around metal every hand needs level 4 cut protection gloves at least even if its just a barrier to the plate edges.
Rock on Baz. You and the team are rocking it. I love to see it. Keep up the good work.

P.s how come your still have fox group on your tops and jackets ?? Get a Martin group logo on there.
I'm not binning perfectly good workwear till its done
Mr welderfabber the great, mate You are definitely moving you are growing because of your good work. I think you are gona need bigger premises like an acre or 2 seriously Baz this time next year you guys gona struggle for more room and most likely get a transport dept set up aswell gona need it to shift that metal especially with Dan's work. Well you don't have to look to far for a transport guy baz. Honestly Baz you and Callum are doing good really happy for you guys. Love the motorbikes at the Howard Stott yard.
By the way Mr welderfabber where is our Director gone to.
Stay safe and well.
Director is around filming and helping out with loads besides editing plus we still have dans old workshop we'll be fine for now.
