    You have just made my day. I'm in love with the idea of a red stone, but have always shied away because of the difficulty of understanding what to look for. Thanks for the information.

    Thanks for sharing this lovely video to everyone, that's makes me able to learn new information and knowledge, this video was about 5 years ago,. Today's, high quality ruby, red diamond After raising the price to a higher level, still a strong demand,. especially, untreated Burmese Ruby stone.

    What about garnets, how do they stack up against other stones in jewelry.

    Red diamond is more lustrous that ruby. Even in rough you can see the adamanatine luster of the red diamond.

    I got a gemstone that is probably a 10 on the hardest scale. It's red and as red as pigeon blood. I still got to get GIA to check it out. Is there a way for you to tell me what I have before I get it certified identify?

    My beautiful lady, we knew the price of a red marquise diamond ring, and I did not know the price of a ruby ring. Pigeon blood is natural. The weight of the stone is five carats ،F, J .

    Question I have the presidium multi tester iii and I have tested it on rubies from Burma, it gives me the green light. I test them on other rubies from other countries such as Africa, it does not give me a green light but it gives me a yellow light or only Red Antler on a rough sapphire from Madagascar I have used the multi tester and it gives me a green light as if it were a diamond, that sapphire is blue, what could be happening. I know that the multi tester is only for Diamonds Monssanite zirconia or simulant but in a rough sapphire and Burmese rubies it gives me diamonds what happens here

    where did you get the 5 carat ruby? is it from Burma? is it treated or untreated ?

    • @joshharris3040
      @joshharris3040 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was from Mozambique if I remember correctly. Just rewatch the video. It was mentioned. She didn't mention if it was treated, but it's pretty safe to assume it's been heated, otherwise she probably would have mentioned it was unheated and untreated.

      Interesting. If it is a larger stone and you are curious, you can take it to a jeweler to learn more. It could be ruby or possibly a spinel or garnet. Keep us posted!

      @KrikawaJewelryDesignTucson  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The best way to identify your stone’s origins is to take it to a professional gemologist o reputable jeweler. They will be able to have a look at it using their gemological tools and tell you its origin.

    • @thestud1881

      it must be fake coz whoever owns an 8 carat precious stone knows jewelry and will have it appraised at the nearest pawnshop.

    Lol, don't you think this video is a little unrealistic? Red diamonds go for about $5 million/ carat

    • @joshharris3040
      @joshharris3040 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Untreated red diamonds. Notice the two red diamonds shown were enhanced. That lowers the price significantly. I've seen treated fancy red diamonds at a much lower price point then that though. And 5 million per carat is a little exaggerated, even for untreated fancy red.

  • @orlandoperez7105
    @orlandoperez7105 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I told her to stop smoking my shit. 😂 that last diamonds ain't worth shit a color enhanced anything treated is worth crap that 700k is worth no more than 25k just because its 5 carrots ahah I mean carats
