Fortunate to see Sagrada, Notre Dame, and St. Peter's Basilica l last March, April and May respectively. Turkey and Russia next! But what you're showing is Park Guell's ceilings and Sacre Couer in Montmarte.
A very deceptive video. The interior images at 3.11 and 3.24 are not in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Moat (commonly called St Basil's Cathedral). The image at 3.24 is definitely the interior of St Isaac's Cathedral in St Petersburg. I certainly would not be taking travel advice from this channel.
The importance of religious temples is not measured by their size, but rather by the number of worshippers attending prayers. As it is known, many of these buildings have become almost deserted with few visitors, and the reason for this can be traced back to the reason those churches were built and what happens inside those buildings. Also because of the endless contradictions in the doctrine presented by all the churches. That is why you find these churches going bankrupt and turning into hotels and nightclubs, and often other temples are transformed into mosques for Muslims and sometimes Hindu temples.
Top 5? Not necessarily. Artists disagree - and many of your viewers rightfully have other perceptions & preferences. What is important is: the Holy Presence of Christ, Savior of the World+🙏 ❤️🔥
You cannot put the Hagia Sophia on this list. Without a living and current congregation who are the church as its people, it is not a church building - it is a museum as you have stated. However, I don't wish to detract from its spectacular architecture and historical importance, or the fact that it was once had a congregation. In response to abdisal from 10 days ago, I would say that most large churches/cathedrals still have strong congregations. And all of the 4 listed churches in this video have enormous numbers of visitors as correctly implied/stated by the author. It is the same to a lesser degree for all the Cathedrals in the UK - I cannot fully speak for elsewhere.

Are you sure it's not first? It's all about how you look at it.😊
