I so want to make a squirrel. I went through a long time searching for my spirit animal. It turned out to be squirrel. Then it took me a long time to accept this fact. Of course I had wanted a cool spirit like cougar, bear, or wolf, lol. I've accepted now and embraced this fact. I'm now comfortable with this. Funny thing is I've always loved watching and chittering with squirrels and smaller ground squirrels. I joined patreon today after thinking about it for weeks. Now I need to find what goes with this video, wink.

Super cute! I absolutely suck at sewing. I just made a Baby Groot and while I'm proud of the piece and he did turn out cute, his arms are kinda not even. Any project that requires this much sewing I'm really intimidated by but practice makes perfect, right? These squirrels are beyond adorable and I would definitely add the cheeks and acorn, they just make the piece even more perfect. I can see this little guy perched atop a crocheted pumpkin, as part of your fall décor - I know that's how I'd arrange him! Also, his body shape reminded me of a seal, and with just a little tweaking I'm sure you could easily turn him into one! Love a pattern that I can see different shapes from.

Tip: if your squirrel falls over to the back, try putting a weight in the acorn! (I used one-cent coins idk if there’s an American equivalent of similar size)

Hi thanks for your lovely creations, I am new to crochet so I'm still navigating around the abbreviations, I've just given up on the little Lima as wasn't understanding one of your stitches, thought I'd make a squirrel instead but now I realise this has the same stitch as the Lima. Single crochet 3 together, I've tried numerous ways to try and make it work and get the right amount of stitches for the round can you please help someone 🙏
Hi! It can be a bit tricky :) there's two ways to do them, but I recommend the standard way to start: insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. Do this in the next two stitches along, leaving you with 4 loops on your hook - 3 loops from 3 different stitches, and your active loop. Yarn over and pull through all 4 loops to finish the stitch. When you are comfortable with that you try the "invisible" version, which is what you'll see me use in videos :)
Just a note: I had to go and find out what 3tog meant. It’ll be good if you could put a quick explanation what certain code means. It’ll be greatly appreciate it. Thanks 😊 😊

I guess you could just use a thinner yarn- that automatically makes the pattern smaller if u use the same pattern and thinner yarn+needle
