1 tsp vanilla extract

20g cane sugar
40ml water
■Whip cream
370ml heavy cream

8:55 Bata hasta que esté lo suficientemente firme y no caiga de las varillas.
11:35 Agregue la crema batida que estaba en refrigeración.
11:51 Mezcle hasta que quede suave.

Its a lovely cake but IMO the video would be better with a little more description of the steps. Like how approx how many minutes you need to whisk the eggs, etc. Many of us have questions about some steps. Hope my cake looks as good as this one. It will take some time.

This cake is SO beautiful and looks SO tasty, as with ALL of your cakes, HidiMari! You do the most impressive creations. Every time I watch you slice one of your freshly baked cakes, my mouth waters. Now, I am a little confused...why is this a "winter" cake? From the comments, I am getting the feeling that it has something to do with Japanese culture?? Interestingly, here in the Midwest United States, strawberry shortcake is something that is a summertime treat! Summer is when strawberries are in season, therefore we get the best deals on the most beautiful berries. Isn't it fascinating the way we all have the same great taste, all around the world, just at different times and for different reasons!? I love it! HidaMari, I thank you so much for you taking the time to bring us such well-thought-out and produced videos. They are so easy to watch and understand and we can actually learn from them. Yeah lmao, red is the christmas colour so they use strawberries and cream looks like snow. I guess strawberries are kind of always expensive in Japan as is all fruit so there isn't that same jump to strawberries in the summertime, that's my guess.
