it's not cause of Mamamoo that nailed it that Killing Voice continued. it would continue anyway. that's why it was made. Dingo had Killing Verse for rappers, so they made Killing Voice for non-rappers. the idea came from Solar, so they invited Mamamoo first.
@SapiaNt0mata Disagree. Lots of shows get cancelled after one season or less, and derivative shows are particularly risky. Mamamoo MADE that show. Others keep it going now, but it was Mamamoo's fantastic voices and unique personalities that started it off with a bang. I mean, just think about it, just singers standing in front of microphones, no spectacle, no dancing, no light show, no audience... It could have been the most boring show in the world.

Wheein is well loved, its only seldom that she was recognized on the first listen to them. Once you learn how talented she is, you cannot whee out. She is the backbone of the group. I saw the comment when mention about the 4% fandom, I believe its meant that its the male fan is lesser than female. Even the members sometimes surprise if there is male fans. 😅
Yes, that's been their standard greeting ever since they debuted in 2014. Lol. "Why do I feel seduced by Hwasa?" That's why she's known as The Fatal Maknae. She makes everything she sings sound sexy, even children's songs. 🤣 Nice comments about Moonbyul's rapping. She always articulates her words clearly no matter how fast she raps. She is one of the most unique and versatile rappers in kpop. She doesn't do much singing in this medley but she's also an excellent singer. Ok, I wasn't going to say anything but it's kind of annoying when you keep saying Wheelin after looking at her name. It's Wheein, as in Whee In. There's no L. As moomoos like to say, Once you Wheein you can't Wheeout. Moonbyul isn't easy to say for English speakers. Byul means star and Moonbyul is aka Moonstar so you can call her Moonstar if you like. To say Byul start by saying Yul as in the actor Yul Brynner and then mash a B into it without adding a vowel: Byul. Common mispronunciations include Bee-yul and Bye-yul but try not to do that. Sorry, there's no MV for I Miss You. Watch their live performance of I Miss You on Queendom. Queendom was a competition tv show but the network doesn't block reactions. I Miss You is one of Mamamoo's main vocal masterpieces along with Paint Me and Where Are We Now, which have music videos. Funny you said Hip sounds like a Hwasa song. She co-wrote the lyrics. Hip is a combo of a diss track mocking their haters as people who spit in their own faces and a message song that re-defines Hip to mean being yourself and doing your own thing rather than the usual slang meaning of cool or trendy. Mamamoo doesn't fit into kpop standards regarding beauty, fashion or behavior, especially around issues like gender and sexuality, so they've always been targeted by haters. Hip is their response. Gogobebe is just their way of spelling Go, Go, Baby. The song is about putting aside your troubles and partying. Moonbyul starts of with a clever numerological code: "9 / 6, 6 19, 9 / 6, Gogobebe!" 9 to 6 is the standard Korean work day and 6 19 is their debut date (June 19), so the literal translation is Work, Debut, Work, Party! In other words, they worked hard as trainees, then they debuted, and they've been working hard ever since so it's time to let it all hang out and party all night long! Dingga came out during the pandemic and it was MMM's way of trying to cheer us up while we were socially distant. In the song & MV they fantasize about things they wish they could do with friends of all ages, including hanging out and drinking like a fish. lol There are very few covers of Mamamoo songs that do justice to the original. Though it's too short, one of the best covers of I Miss You was done by BtoB's Changsub when he joined Solar on her yt channel Solarsido to sing each other's songs. She's done a number of song switch vids with her friends and favorite singers. Changsub is her best male friend. As for other excellent Killing Voice videos you might not have seen yet, I think you'd like the session by Big Mama. Big Mama is a four member girl group who've been around for over 20 years. They're great singers with impeccable harmonies. And, speaking of Changsub, check out BtoB's Killing Voice. BtoB has been one of the best male vocal groups for a long time.
This is why mamamoo is my favorite group, 400 videos and all of them are songs that are this awesome. I have seen them live, last year and they really can sing this well live. Solar is my favorite singer in the world, not just kpop. Pick any video, it will be great and try their youtube channels. I MIss You is a B side and never had an MV. However, there are excellent performances. Queendom because they won with this is one of the songs they won the contest with and there are some other live performances to see. And you are right on talent, Mamamoo is considered the best of the best vocalists in korea and certainly at the top with whomever else is considered the best. They are in fact known in Korea specifically for their live vocals being the best.
Wheein has a marvelous voice - Whee-in I think it more so pronounced “Hweee -in “ I always gravitate towards her tone. I must say because she is so versatile, with highs and low’s, she tends not to be noticed as much as hwasa’s sultry raspy voice , solar’s powerful belting voice and moonbyul (moonstar) deep and rap lines. I love that you appreciate her vocal tone. She deserves it!

Oxygen and water will be needed when he watches Immortal Songs Medley.... R.I.P Not many can cover Mamamoo (or Exo) songs. There have been some though that do a good job. Exo Killing Voice is just as good. Both groups. VOCAL KINGS AND Queens. I Miss You has no music video. However, the Queendom I Miss You perfromance is a great one. Some other tracks that are like I Miss You, and have music videos, are - Paint Me Where Are We Now Cover they did of other legendary kpop songs/performances are- Delilah (Tom Jones) Backwoods Passion Flower (Mamamoo were only rookies when they were first asked to appear on Immortal Song. Some thought they shouldn't be on the show as they were still knew. After the first performance, people were stunned. Mamamoo was asked another 14 times to compete on the show, and they won a few times. Queendom song performances that I love and are so good- Good Luck (cover of AOA song) Destiny (Title track from Mamamoo album.) I Miss You, (Mamamoo song) Mamamoo intro song on Queendom) It's Live performances Where Are We Now Mr. Ambiguous Illella Piano Man15/01/28 Gaon Chart Kpop performance. Studio vs Live
Mamamoo is the REASON there IS a "Killing Voice", they were the FIRST. And it's one of the reasons it's so short. Before them it was The "Killing Verse" and featured ONLY Rappers. Speciffically "The Killing Voice" exists because of Solar. SOLAR(w/Mamamoo) wanted to join 'Killing Verse' but WASN'T accepted. So Dingo Music created 'Killing Voice' and Called MAMAMOO. Their video currently has the most Killing Voice views... we need a second one. LOL
Some recs: as I said before I miss you queendom performance Also the other queendom performances cuz like Good luck, Decalcomanie and Destiny The immortal songs performances: Backwoods Delilah Way to sampoo Passion flower And ofc the immortal songs medley My star (clip from their 4s4c concert) MAMA 2018-2020 Performances ( and dont skip their MAMA perf. with jyp in 2019). Mamamoos biggest strength besides their vocals is the stage. It is their playground they have literally a strong aura they can command the stage and the public by just standing and singing like u saw here and now imagine they also move interact with the public have fun on stage. So after the live performances watch their mvs like any mv is so good but I want to recommend the funny ones yk how talented they are: 1cm (taller than you) You are the best Um oh ah yeah Dingga Gogobebe 1,2,3 eoi Now the iconic I will seduce you mvs ( you already reacted to egotistic) Piano man Decalcomanie Aya Hip (could also be under fun but it is iconic) Illela Wind flower Starry night Now to the sad mvs: Paint me Star Wind Flower Sun Where are we now Ik thats a lot and this is still the tip of it😭

In the song & MV they fantasize about things they wish they could do with friends of all ages, including hanging out and drinking like a fish. lol
There are very few covers of Mamamoo songs that do justice to the original.
I miss you is hands down my favorite too. You are basically me bro, i react the same way.... :D
Imortal song medley is show more live vocal from them
Congratulations you've been blessed by heavenly voices!
Wheein has a marvelous voice -
Whee-in I think it more so pronounced “Hweee -in “
I always gravitate towards her tone. I must say because she is so versatile, with highs and low’s, she tends not to be noticed as much as hwasa’s sultry raspy voice , solar’s powerful belting voice and moonbyul (moonstar) deep and rap lines. I love that you appreciate her vocal tone. She deserves it!
As a TWICE stan, there are only certain groups that got into my playlist besides Twice and MAMAMOO is one of those groups. The girls are talented.
Es un respeto mutuo..TWICE Y DREAMCATCHER...son grupos clasicos..❤ para ud de un MOOMOO LATAM
Respeto a todas las aficiones pero eso de :
"The girls are talented".
No es tan respetuoso como quizá debiera ser.

Hola siempre digo que no hay distancia ni idioma que me impida agradecer su reaccion a nuestras Reinas MAMAMOO ❤
LOL
Big mama killing voice
Some recs: as I said before I miss you queendom performance
Also the other queendom performances cuz like Good luck, Decalcomanie and Destiny

My star (clip from their 4s4c concert)
MAMA 2018-2020 Performances ( and dont skip their MAMA perf. with jyp in 2019). Mamamoos biggest strength besides their vocals is the stage. It is their playground they have literally a strong aura they can command the stage and the public by just standing and singing like u saw here and now imagine they also move interact with the public have fun on stage.
So after the live performances watch their mvs like any mv is so good but I want to recommend the funny ones yk how talented they are:

Also...did anyone tell him that Hwasa was sick during this recording?
While there is no actual MV for I Miss You, their epic performance from Queendom is safe to react to.
I miss you doesn’t have a music video, but the queendom version is a masterpiece.

If you want a powerful male vocalist could i suggest Key. Perhaps Bad Love by Key.

Maybe you should try also reacting to EXO. Exo is the vocals kings. EXO KILLING VOICE and 2024 EXO FANMEETING b-sides medley...

Oh god, that was hard. Over 40 minutes to react to a 15 minute video? I love Mamamoo and have been a fan since 2014 but I just couldn't watch more than half of this reaction.
