Most of the time the prosecutor boils a story like this down to "she was so intoxicated she was trying to use a hand wipe as a phone" and that's the extent of how much the judge hears of the insanity.

I don't think she thought it was a phone. She was trying to wipe the side of her face but was so f'd that she didn't understand the cop. When she got a wiff of what he was passing she couldn't respond properly. A mixture of pain pills for the booboo and some fairy dust. @philburke1902 she can't. Although she was not suspected of anything, front seat gives access to a lot of things the general public cannot mess with. Avoids problems in the back seat. If you know where the button is or the buttons to press on the console, you can release and use the shotgun and or M16 in the front. You are also within operating range of the law enforcement communications and database.

as someone whos drank a lot, i find it hard to believe this is just being drunk, i'd guess she's on some sort of medication and it's reacting with the alcohol to make her lose it.
People are just built differently when it comes to drunkenness. Some just get happy, then eventually sleepy, with maybe some vomiting in between. Others become fully deranged and hostile. Strangely, the ones most negatively affected also seem to be the ones who also choose to stay drunk most of the time. 🤷

Just don’t do it driving, don’t get mad, and don’t do it at work. Easy fun time at home or at a game/event. Then when you have liver enzyme tests that say it’s not keeping up, then just stop for a while if not at all.

I'm currently working as a teacher and the way this cop treats her is exactly how I deal with belligerent students. Never stoop down to their level, show them kindness even when they are trying to provoke you, and show them that their terrible behavior isn't going to break you.

Just amazingly archaic to still do the sobriety test, just get her to blow in the breathalyzer. Here they routinely test for alcohol if stopping someone, its pretty easy they have a device that you blow toward, this will say determine if there is ANY alcohol in the breath. If there is, they change to the tube to get a more accurate reading and if you fails, you go to the hospital for a bloodtest that will give a very accurate Blood alcohol level.

John Doe I've had three in New York state if you refuse to blow your automatically getting charged with DWI they don't take you up for a blood test not to mention as soon as they walk up to your car window they can smell it they did it sober variety tests on me once and asked me to say the alphabet backwards and I did and the cops job fell to the ground

Aside from the annoyance of having to deal with the results of an adult's poor decision making on a bad day, this is likely one of his easier, and more amusing, calls. I remember being a drunk like that and I actually had an encounter with a cop who was just incredibly wonderful. He understood that I obviously was in the thick of my illness. She definitely had an entitled air about her though.

There are certainly bad apples in the bunch, as there are with every profession, and unfortunately a lot of people let the actions of a few speak for the entire law enforcement community. There are tens, sometimes hundreds, of thousands of police interactions and traffic stops every single day that go off without a hitch, but we only hear about or see the one that didn't as those are the stories that generate the most views.

Insurance companies only pay the absolute minimum that they can legally get away with. So many people said the same thing after blm destroyed cities, burning buildings down. "Well insurance will cover it." When in reality in many of those cases the insurance barely covered the demolition and clean-up. Best case scenario here is the insurance does cover the cost of repairs. But that still leaves her without transportation for a month or two while the car sits at the body shop. Try seeing how much sympathy you get from your employer when you can't make it into work for a month. Insurance won't cover those lost wages.

If you know where the button is or the buttons to press on the console, you can release and use the shotgun and or M16 in the front. You are also within operating range of the law enforcement communications and database.

Seeming fake tears about losing her grandmother to try and get out of being arrested, then just calls her "your mother" to her father on the phone.

People are just built differently when it comes to drunkenness. Some just get happy, then eventually sleepy, with maybe some vomiting in between. Others become fully deranged and hostile. Strangely, the ones most negatively affected also seem to be the ones who also choose to stay drunk most of the time. 🤷

Just don’t do it driving, don’t get mad, and don’t do it at work. Easy fun time at home or at a game/event. Then when you have liver enzyme tests that say it’s not keeping up, then just stop for a while if not at all.

I'm currently working as a teacher and the way this cop treats her is exactly how I deal with belligerent students. Never stoop down to their level, show them kindness even when they are trying to provoke you, and show them that their terrible behavior isn't going to break you.

Here they routinely test for alcohol if stopping someone, its pretty easy they have a device that you blow toward, this will say determine if there is ANY alcohol in the breath. If there is, they change to the tube to get a more accurate reading and if you fails, you go to the hospital for a bloodtest that will give a very accurate Blood alcohol level.

John Doe I've had three in New York state if you refuse to blow your automatically getting charged with DWI they don't take you up for a blood test not to mention as soon as they walk up to your car window they can smell it they did it sober variety tests on me once and asked me to say the alphabet backwards and I did and the cops job fell to the ground

Aside from the annoyance of having to deal with the results of an adult's poor decision making on a bad day, this is likely one of his easier, and more amusing, calls. There are certainly bad apples in the bunch, as there are with every profession, and unfortunately a lot of people let the actions of a few speak for the entire law enforcement community. There are tens, sometimes hundreds, of thousands of police interactions and traffic stops every single day that go off without a hitch, but we only hear about or see the one that didn't as those are the stories that generate the most views.

@@crochunter35have you ever personally delt with insurance companies? The chances of being made whole again after filing a claim is very slim. Insurance companies only pay the absolute minimum that they can legally get away with.
So many people said the same thing after blm destroyed cities, burning buildings down. "Well insurance will cover it." When in reality in many of those cases the insurance barely covered the demolition and clean-up.
Best case scenario here is the insurance does cover the cost of repairs. But that still leaves her without transportation for a month or two while the car sits at the body shop. Try seeing how much sympathy you get from your employer when you can't make it into work for a month. Insurance won't cover those lost wages.

Nope, you are 100% wrong. His tactics are correct. He’s keeping his sh!t together, not taking anything personally - because he is smart enough to understand that she is trashed and nothing that she says to him or anyone can be taken personally or reacted to. He is being professional, detached, and effective. His role is not to correct her or get offended or punish her, he is only there to follow the letter of the law, get her booked, and let the legal process unfold.
