Did your roof got stuck in the roll bar? Happens to me as well and i got used to putting my hand on the roof's bar and pushing a little during the movement to keep it up while crossing the roll bars...
Hi. I can see how easy it i8s to change the motors but my mechanic still can’t fully close the roof; the very rear is sticking up by about 1/2 inch and I am getting the incomplete hood operation and hood mechanism failure messages on the dash. Any ideas?

Buona sera. E' possibile montare uno speciale modulo fabbricato negli Sati Uniti che si chiama Mode 4 Cars. Permette di comandare apertura/chiusura della capote con il telecomando in dotazione della Spider. Cheers.

I’ve changed all the gas struts in the roof and occasionally when closing, the clam shell gets a few inches from being in situ and I get the “temp hood error” on the display and have to do a few inches back and forth on the open / close switch to get it to close. Tried the swooping the flap motor from left to right trick but no better. Sound like the flap motors? If you find a source new or used could you let me know please? Thanks.
Schönes Video bei mir wurden auch 4 Dämpfer im Verdeck getauscht - die lassen nach - dann Gefahr Scheibenbruch am besten mal googeln

Hi, After mounting new flap motor, how did you calibrate flaps to same position ? on the movie before roof opening they are in different position
