His downfall and comeback seem like they're from a movie aswell. His whole life is like a movie. They're going to make a movie on him 50 years from now guaranteed. Insecure 13 year old mma starter fighter, to plumber, to amateur, to pro, to double cage warrior champ, to ufc, to featherweight champ, to lightweight champ and featherweight champ, to biggest boxing fight in history, to the most successful Irish whiskey brand of the past couple of years. Downfall to comeback aswell.

+kenpachi zaraki Agreed. I was saying this aswell. i really hope he gets respect..But as you can imagine. Tons of people will be bashing him..same with Weidman. Tehse guys goes through SO MUCH, but people are just stuck up iditos to them. Conor is such a beast of an irish schoolboy figther, while Jose was the slm boy, just of a diffrent culture, they both did the same basically, just frm diffrent cultures. Mad repsect to both of them. Well done to Connor, and i honestly thought he tripped or something at first. The rematc hwill be coming. Also sad for mcgregor that it went that fast.
      Hopefully both gets respect.

+Daniel true that bro. I am a fan of both of them. But making fun of someone's downfall is just rude and disappointing. We should support them and not break them even more. Words can even hurt like hell. Those fighters give everything they got, train hard to be the best. A single encourgement means a lot to them and a single discouragement also. I just can't stand these kinds of people.

ALDO DID NOT SAY "IT WAS REALLY NOT A FIGHT" NO WHERE CLOSE ACTUALLY ID GO EVEN FURTHER TO SAY HE SAID THE OPPOSITE lol
Interpreter: can you remember any of the fight?
Aldo: yes, he came straight for me as I expected and when I went to attack him he hit me with a good left and I was out. I have to congratulate him but it doesnt end here. It was a quick fight and he caught me with a good punch and was able to finish the fight.
Interpreter: it certainly was a fight, it just ended very quickly(fucker translates that bit well though). How much did the taunting and disrespect affect you in the fight?
Aldo: (aldo must be thinking "what the fuck? Should i nut him") it didnt affect anything. He could of said anything. I never let myself be provoked. Im at peace within. I went in there to work. It was his day today he got me with a good punch but I think we just have to wait for the rematch. Next time I'll come much more prepared and I'll take back what is mine.
    Joe: thanks been a pleasure.
Aldo: I just want to say thank you to everyone. This is part of the game. I lost today but I'll be back even stronger and get my belt back.

Looking back on the fight I wish there was a second fight as it would further answered any questions/doubts real or not about Conor’s superiority over Aldo. I’m just thinking o& the fight in the cage itself, but the lead up could of been something to special too with Aldo being forced to open up on whether he was truly effected in the first fight and o& course it would show up again in the second denial or not. He deserved a potential redemption and I am not saying or believe he would even have a good shot at changing much of anything in a second immediate fight, but having defended the title for so long and officially being undefeated for ages would lend itself to having earned that rematch. The first was not a dud, but instead broke records, so why would there not be a call for a second go around after such an event. Aldo the great Champion being taken out as predicted by Conor and all the emotions from Aldo pouring out begs for a rematch if not an easy money maker for Conor. That decision to not have a second fight 6 months down the line is a mistake.

I think he did recover soon after this.
And the people who say he was never the same after this seem to forgot who were Aldo's opponents the last years: Max Holloway twice (even Poirier could barely defeat him), Petr Yan and Alexander Volkanowski. Aldo out of his prime fighting top contenders in their prime. And il both fights against Holloway, he did well in the first two rounds, but seemed to gas out in the third before getting outboxed by Holloway (the best boxer in that devision).
So he doesn't have to be ashamed to losf against names, and I think he really doesn't. He is just out of his prime, like Khabib said: There isn't a second prime in a fighter's life.

@@medleminahmed2134 As I responded to the other guy in the comments, for anyone curious, here is the full translation of this interview:
      Translator
"Você consegue lembrar alguma coisa da luta?" --- "Can you remember anything from the fight?"
      Jose
"Ele jogou um direto no meu peito, eu esperava isso... e quando eu fui atacá-lo ele acertou um bom direto, ai pegou ali, mas... eu creio que essa luta ai, eu acho que agora a gente tem que partir para uma revanche que eu acho que não termina dai. Eu acho que foi muito rápido ali, ele acertou um bom golpe e conseguiu acabar com a luta." ------ "He threw a right hand on my chest, I WAS expecting it... and when I was going to attack him, he hit a good right hand cross and it got me there, but... I think that this fight, I think that now we need to go to a rematch and I think it doesn't end here. I think that it was too fast here, he got a nice shot and managed to end the fight."
      Translator
"He threw a cross on my chess which I WASNT expecting, then I threw a punch and he came back with another cross and that was that. I think we need a rematch, it was really NOT A FIGHT (he never said this) so we need to get back in here."
      Translator
"A luta ocorreu só que ocorreu muito rápido né, tudo que ele falou, tudo que aconteceu, como que isso te afetou aqui na luta?" ---- "The fight happened but it happened too fast right - everything he said, everything that happened, how that affected you here in the fight?"
      Jose
"Ah não afetou em nada não cara... ele pode ter falado o que for, eu nunca caio em provocação nenhuma cara.. eu fico bem, com a cabeça bem tranquila ali dentro. Então eu vou chegar lá dentro e fazer meu trabalho. Ele foi feliz hoje, acertou um bom golpe. Eu acho que a gente tem que partir para outra agora, agora eu estou esperando a revanche ai, e se Deus quiser na próxima eu vou voltar muito mais treinado e reconquistar o que é meu." --- "Ah it didn't affect me at all man, he could have said whatever he wants, I never fell for any provocations man.. I'm fine, with my head tranquil inside there. So I'll go there and do my job. He was happy today, managed to hit a good shot. I think we need to go onto the next now. Now I'm waiting for my rematch, and if God wants (brazillian slang, kinda weird to translate), in the next I'll come back much more trained and reconquest what is mine."
      Translator
"It didn't affect me at all, I really don't care what he says and ah, we'll have to come back in here and it's onto the next at this point"
      Jose
"Valeu galera do Brasil, muito obrigado ai pela torcida a gente é positivo em todo mundo.. isso faz parte, é um esporte. A gente perdeu hoje, mas se Deus quiser a gente perdeu a batalha e não a guerra, e se Deus quiser eu vou voltar mais forte e conquistar para vocês. Muito obrigado pela torcida de todos, valeu galera um grande abraço e fiquem com Deus." ---- "Thanks everyone from Brasil, thank you very much for supporting me and we are positive in the whole world (as positive people)... This happens, it is a sport. We might have lost today, but if God wants (slang), we will only lose the battle and not the war, and if God wants, I'll come back stronger and reconquest for you guys. Thank you very much for the organized crowd from everyone, thanks guys and a big hug and Godspeed/Stay with God for everyone."
      Translator
"Thanks for everyone watching in Brazil, this is sport, it's a fight this is happen... thanks for everyone staying up and I'll be back."

This is basically what delusional Paddy Pimple imagines he is. Had to come back here to cleanse my brain from that imposters post fight interview.
No one will ever replicate this level of stardom ever again in the UFC IMO, not paddy pimple or whoever the hell the UFC PR machine try next to clone Conor. Glad I got to witness this short lived, but incredible era.
Also the translator did Aldo dirty, he made it seem like he was a sore loser because he did not even translate properly. That's not what Aldo said, Aldo is also an absolute classy legend.
