    McGregor Era was was mind blowing. The confidence, fearlessness and wit. Conor is not only sublime in his striking but intelligent, funny and ruthless. Its not that he is brave, there is just a natural complete absence of all fear or anxiety. He truly has no fears. What an inspiration.

      that era actually pissed me off more the only thing i liked from it is that fighters were paid more but being 14 and start seeing people come in the club having this idea of what it means to do martial arts becuse they saw connor. dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with being inspired to do martial arts by him but i wont lie and say it wasent annoying to see people coming into the karate or jiu jitsu club to learn how fight in mma like connor xd

    The buildup, the pre fight dialogue , the venue, the marketing, the performance, everything that went into this event was absolute gold even watching it yrs later you can see how this took the UFC brand to another level. Mcgregor’s momentum coming into this fight was incredible. Obviously their have been big events since but nothing yet has compared to the Mcgregor shows of the past. Hungry young kid that did all he set out to do and much more. Just like a shooting star

      He was actually waiting for Eddie to loosen up and throw his hands more because he had Eddie's timing down to a T. If you go back and watch the punch that Eddie throws, it's actually so telegraphed. He's stepping back as he raises his fist and stares directly where he wants to throw it, then stops backing up and plants his feet.

      @@SideA628 Call me crazy but I always thought his debut was his best performance. That was peak Conor coming fresh off of claiming the featherweight and lightweight belts in Cage Warriors in back to back fights. The fight he had vs Ivan Buchinger for the lw cage warriors title right before his UFC debut is one of his best highlights (same pull counter he hit Eddie with) you could tell his striking was on another level even at that point. Massive for the featherweight division, young & hungry with no fame no money and no distractions. No media obligations putting him on jet planes across the nation fucking up his sleep patterns and limiting his training.

    The last fight Mcgregor was Mystic Mac the man the myth the legend... after the Mayweather fight and the whiskey and his kids he was never the same .. its a shame we never seen Conor really focus 100% on MMA after this I believe he would dominated for at least 2/3 years

    28:28 That was the single greatest counter punching combination I've ever seen, absolutely incredible. Even though seeing Conor being wholesome is great, everyone has to admit that they miss seeing the cocky Conor Mcgregor producing magical moments inside the octagon because that era was electrifying.

      He has learned to calm his mind. I have no doubt Conor does meditation, eats foods that help him stay loose and calm, keeps his mind empty as much as possible so he can react to the situation in flow state rather than overthinking. Of all the people I look up to, I believe Conor is most similar to Bruce Lee.

    I don’t know if Larone will read this, but all the McGregor videos he’s posted have been some of my favorite to end up on the internet. I would absolutely love if he did one for Mayweather vs. McGregor, Khabib vs. McGregor, McGregor vs. Cowboy, Poirier vs. McGregor 2 and all his future fights, of which I predict there will be many.
