Especially the music video of "Even Flow" where Eddie is chewing out Josh at the beginning of the video. It's one of my favorite music videos just for that moment alone.
He reminds me of Joe Cocker when he sings. The pure emotion in the performance is second to none. There are just some voices that bring me to tears at times and Vedder is among them. Guys like Cornell and Cocker even Weiland could hold a room just with their voices alone.

His vocals whilst sounding ad lib are sound for sound the same as the recorded album. He is pitch perfect live. Amazing singer, amazing band, especially that drummer. The grunge scene in Seattle at the time produced the most amazing songs, this is definitely in the top 10 of those. Pearl Jam would have 4 if not 5 of those songs.

A lot of reactors have the music video volume low and their commentary volume much higher so that when I turn up the volume to hear the song, their commentary is basically screaming at me. The volume levels in your videos, between the music and your commentary, is on point and I really appreciate that. NO NO NO Alex, you must see official video...It was 1992 and 7 years before Columbine. After the shooting at Columbine the official video was banned for a bit on Mtv and Vh1. But eventually made its way back to the spotlight being ONE of Pearl Jam's most controversial videos and songs. But now a well known classic!

Pearl Jam was the 1st band that I got into on my own, as in *not* something my friends, parents, sister, anyone else listened to. I was introduced to them by this song (the official vid, not the unplugged) and it was that opening bass line that really got me from the beginning. Jeff Ament is a big part of why I love Pearl Jam still almost 30 years later.

Great reaction! I remember back in the day buying this Cd when it first dropped. "Black" is my favorite song.
His vocals whilst sounding ad lib are sound for sound the same as the recorded album. He is pitch perfect live. Amazing singer, amazing band, especially that drummer. The grunge scene in Seattle at the time produced the most amazing songs, this is definitely in the top 10 of those. Pearl Jam would have 4 if not 5 of those songs.
He was also battling a chest infection too when this was recorded. Eddie Vedder and pearl jam are one of the most amazing bands of the 90’s and beyond

All the legends from the Seattle area around this time were on another level. Grunge to rock, Candlebox to Nirvana, take your pick, they all kill it.
A lot of reactors have the music video volume low and their commentary volume much higher so that when I turn up the volume to hear the song, their commentary is basically screaming at me. The volume levels in your videos, between the music and your commentary, is on point and I really appreciate that. With your videos, I can enjoy the song and your commentary without feeling like I'm being punished. Thank you for that.

NO NO NO Alex, you must see official video...It was 1992 and 7 years before Columbine. After the shooting at Columbine the official video was banned for a bit on Mtv and Vh1. But eventually made its way back to the spotlight being ONE of Pearl Jam's most controversial videos and songs. But now a well known classic!
