Recently I told my wife there has never been a band more ironically in tune with the way I feel ethically , spiritually and musically than The Avett Brothers. Sometimes I’ll just throw on an album, grab my guitar and just play along. I can’t wait to hear what’s in store. Thank you for sharing your art.
So accurate. They’re my favorite band to ever exist. Their songwriting ability is great, but the way these guys carry themselves.. you can just tell they’re the real deal. Genuine, honest, and thoughtful. Not very often do you see people with this level of success have such good souls, especially in the music industry.
Lars yeah that’s one of my favourite songs! It’s the only one I recognise though which is good because usually I’ve seen live versions of a heap of the new songs from upcoming Avett albums! I’m really looking forward to this one! In saying that if there were live videos I’d watch them for a preview!

Why they felt they had to make this video I will never know. They are blatently good men. Bob Dylan never felt like he had to explain his songs. He just kinda told people, you figure out what it means and it's not like his songs are hard to digest either. And I'd say the same for the avett bros, their songs are not hard to digest
