And because the game willbe free to play. Micro transactions aren't looked at as badly when you don't have to spend $70 to get access to them in the first place
When someone just say "PoE" I instantly think of Pillars of Eternity. Or pillars of eternity 2 if its a 2 behind. Then a second later im reminded that its about a new game release so its not pillar but path of exile. These shorts are getting confusing....
Concord failed because it tried competing with OverWatch & didn’t do anything better or different. You have to make a noticeably better game to steal players away from the original game you’re competing with.
Idk about other blizzard games but what they did with OW2 in the last year is amazing, they were more responsive to community, fixed game problems way more quickly and monetization got a lot better. Sadly the bad reputation of the game makes everything they do look bad. The 6v6 play test was sth community wanted from the start of the OW2 and they finally granted their wishes. They said clearly 5v5 isn't going anywhere and it is the main game mode of the game and nothing will change it but if the 6v6 playtest is going to be popular they are going to add it as a secondary mode in rank and qp for those who enjoyed it. (and they announce it way back than MR huge blow up). And for you who think it was a random decision to go from 6v6 to 5v5, when they announce a 6v6 play test they clearly explained why they did so, it was bc of long queue time for DPS and Supp roles (which are the most popular roles of the game) and that nobody wanted to play tank. They statically showed after removing one tank, the role queue time for dps role decreased to one third of what was in OW1. In the end blizzard had many missed steps for sure but should give them credit where it's due.
In the end it won't really matter with ow2. They handled it so poorly that a lot of players were pushed away and will not come back. If they can't be consistently good at what they are doing then they don't deserve to have the massive playerbase that ow1 had
@tetchedskate3366 Absolutely agree with you they had one of the most successful live service games which was a cultural phenomenal game and all that's left of it is a common live service game with its limited player base. But the truth is since Jeff Kaplan left Team 4 (the team in charge of OW) in 2021 and Aaron Keller took his place they had a huge shift in how they approached OW. Not all of their decisions were good but they are obviously trying different things to make game better and they communicate it well, for god sake Aaron Keller even shows up in content creator podcasts and streams and talks about the game and their plans. Gavin Winter one of the lead system designers of OW watch streams regularly and comments about game and addresses misunderstandings. How many live service games is there where you can see sth similar? The game is never going to be as popular as it was and they missed their opportunity but i think that shouldn't overshadow the good things they do in OW2.
PoE has the most expensive MTXs in their shop but nobody cares because the game is actually really really good.
And the early access is 30$ , not 70$

Honestly only things I’d say you need to buy are stash tabs rest are cosmetics.

To say “fall from grace” would imply they had grace to begin with.
Jezus christ. Three channels now. Bro chill lol
Didn't this guy say a few months ago that Concord failed because Overwatch is so dominant?

Oh no, someone was wrong about something! Better discredit every opinion they ever have!
Has blizzard been dog 💩 longer now than when they were the best?
Go woke go broke
I wish WoW was good... but the story and characters are so lame now

Didn’t they turn OW2 back into OW1 after failing on every promise they made about why they replaced OW1 with OW2?
Does Blizzard even exist anymore? Lmfao
Bad woke BS, and nothing StarCraft in... Over a decade
I'm pretty done with them honestly
Define woke
Nothing makes a person sound more ignorant than randomly using the word "woke".
@@tetchedskate3366seriously! Not only does this person not know the definition, but also seems to not understand the red pill, hijacked meaning lol
