Family is still on a life support system where the episodes chug and just aren't all that great but it's no question that Family guy really hit a hard scale bottom around season 12 though it's back on a "meh" level but that's more of an subjective outlook since some people do think the newer episodes are good. For me, I just feel like the show has it's moments like this one here but ultimately, it's still in a limbo state and I don't see it bouncing back to the quality of the first few seasons.

I do agree that Season 12 was a low point for the series, as it is one of my least favorite seasons. I wasn't that fond of Season 17, but Season 18 has been better and has had a lot of hilarious and clever moments. Family Guy isn't on a streak with its jokes unlike most older episodes where almost every single joke lands, but the show is still great and provides a good amount of laughs.
