      It hurts to get the privilege of flying and then lose it due to medical reasons. Ask me how I know. I'm so grateful He got his wings back. Maybe there's still hope

    Hero’s come in all shapes and sizes. A man who can experience those types highs and lows, have his identity (kick butt naval pilot) stolen from a softball and a run away horse, yet, smile and give testimony, THIS is a definition of a hero. Thank you (Jimmy) for sharing and bringing attention to men like this. Salute.

    As a navy F-14 fan, nothing more enjoyable is to read or listen to real F-14 tomcat pilots and Rio's stories. I want thanks this man for serving the military to protect our freedom.

    John what a nice bloke , got to say if I was a Pilot in the USN I would want him as my boss . And to fly the F-14 , probably some might say the hottest , sexist , deadliest Fighter ever know to man . That's some achievement that not many can say and so many challenges in life including life threatening injuries and his still here and humble and again what a nice guy . Hats off to you sir , from an ex-RAF Firefighter . Cool video Jimmy and thank you John

    Love how this guy can't relax for a minute...even giving orders to Jimmy.
    Wonder how he mows his lawn :). Took a flight from San Fran to Portland one time
    that hit a sheer that dropped the plane 3-4 thousand feet that made everyone scream
    and sent food trays flying around the cabin, that was not fun. Also had a military flight out of
    Anchorage that was filled past capacity, when the pilot released the break it hardly moved.
    That plane used every foot of the runway.

      @@robertbrewster1775 I get You. I went to College to study aviation business administration and got mine through there. This was mid 80s and rental on the rattle traps I learned to fly in was 40 to 60 bucks an hour. My part of Tennessee is considered rural but we have a small airport with a FBO that was and is a champion of G.A. Don't give up on it if you want it bad enough. I'm going to try again now that I've seen this Man's testimony

      @robertbrewster1775 always wanted to be a Fighter Pilot when I was younger but I never had a degree as im Dyslexic and academically would never have been looked at . So I joined the RAF to become a Painter and Sprayer or that was the idea . They closed the trade on me and told me I may have to wait two years to get in so my CIO sat me down and went through a list of trades I could do . The most exciting sounding one was RAF Firefighter so I said yep ill do that , they sat me in a room to watch video's of what the job entailed . Lots of video's of Fire Trucks screaming in to crashed aircraft and Fire Fighters running in with Hose and Monitors ( foam cannons ) blasting away . Im like oh this looks exciting , it's a lovely job ill take it . I was 18 yrs old im now near 52 and still doing the same job but as a civilian . All those plane crashes lol , I have had three in 34 years . Which is a good thing as plane crashes are not what any one wants to see but when it happened that's what we did . Every job is important no matter what some might think , we all play our part in this World .

    • @zeberdee1972
      @zeberdee1972 ปีที่แล้ว

      @dannyv2335 that's tough and heart breaking but you made it as a Police Officer probably one of the most stressful and dangerous jobs going and by some not appreciated ( usually those criminals ) . How ever you have my up most respect and as some one said to a mate of mine when he was leaving the job ( RAF Firefighter ) " you might soon not be a RAF Firefighter but you will always be an EX-RAF Firefighter . You my friend will always be a part of that fraternity , you got there when many didn't . That should swell your heart with pride , you went out and did your job a very hard job and again I have so much respect for you .
