@@samanthal9634 The ending is sad and you know from the outset that it will be because it opens with Cornelia narrating from the viewpoint of 13 years later. But the journey is wonderful and worth the watch and the ending is very well done and in its own way beautiful. I've also found it a comfort to read about Emily Blunt's and Chaske Spencer's views on what the ending means for their characters.

I agree she does deserve but I don’t think she is poor at all she just lonely but I would have wanted her to know if Eli was alive or what happen to him or something

Love this series it remind of how love should be and feel written in the stars and also sad ending I would have love for them to show where Eli is now or something and she is all alone with her illness that is sad. I believe he would have love her forever with her illness and she came to open up to him with her illness this movie remind ,e of the update to last of the Mohicans and capture woman heart and also dances with wolves: Emily and spencer their chemistry was electric and wow wow the way she save him and didn’t question herself damn and the way he said your my home and the way he looked at her when she held the baby wow wow and I was thinking where I saw him before it was twilight but he was amazing . Emily look amazing as ever and acting on point gosh new fav show which it was longer and wish we saw them older
Wrong song for the love story between Cornelia and Eli. They depended on each other to the point where it tore them up when they had to leave each other. But here is why Cornelia did give him up, because they could never be physical and her looks would turn into horror and she could not let that happen. She could not stay in America because society at the time would not allow the union between races. He could not leave his land and go to England as the land was part of him. They both knew this. It was unspoken.

That they don’t make it has actually stopped me watching the show. We have enough sadness without watching it in fiction. How in enlightened of the times for the writers to do that 😘
