Dobermans are the best protector dogs for kids I’ve ever had. They never once harmed our children but sprang into action when Someone broke in. Best dogs I’ve ever had and I have many animals.❤️
When I was a young boy my dad had one. He got mad at me because I broke his headphones and started yelling. That dog went right up to him and made it clear that I was not to be messed with. I'll never forget that dog.
They’re great, only issue is their size. When they get rowdy they can hurt even adults completely unintentionally just because they’re so strong, but that’s the risk you take with any large dog, and Dobermans are smart enough that they tend to be more aware of their strength than other breeds I’ve dealt with (granted my experience with other dogs is relatively limited).
Before anyone says anything about the dobbie growling, that's how they play, very vocal. I was raised with a dobbie sister. She would growl when she chewed her blanket going to sleep...a low rumble, just like this guy...it's a growl of contentment.
My dobbie Coco bean is her name literally talks she will just be laying on the bed and start growling and barking and making all sorts of random sounds so I get it
Dobermans are the greatest. People may say you shouldn’t trust any dog around a baby/child when they have toys that they may be protective over. I would 100% trust my doberman. Never has ever once shown any aggression. You can take any of his toys/bones right from his mouth and he would never ever growl. They are truly special dogs
My boy was the same way. He never was aggressive with us or anyone.. I taught him from 8wks old to be nice with food/bones an I could leave food in room with him an he wouldn't touch it.
Yes they are . I grew up with one her name was Heidi and mom and Dad got her when I was 2 and we grew up played together until I was 19 she died when I was in Basic training her death hit me like a brick wall and today I still think of her
@@nadlerskidI don't blame you, they are scary looking pretty often!.. coming from someone who's worked a month in a doggy daycare, they're actually one of my new most favorite breeds. They're quiet and gaurded around new people, but very gentle and kind. All stranger dobies I've met trusted me after I cuddled them and showed them I was safe. I'd say there's few dogs I'm afraid of, and even pitbulls for how muscley they look, are often meek and average tempered dogs who love cuddles. The only dogs I have worries about are huskies and German Shepards, since they scientifically have a high prey drive others don't.. but of course, if we got rid of them, we'd lose the thousands of well behaved ones who are close to their familes.
It amazes me how many people can watch a video of a Doberman and refer to it as a dog and not understand what they just seen. The Doberman wasn’t tricked or betrayed by the baby. Watch the video again. When the baby first touches the toy the Doberman uses both paws to hold it tighter. When the baby gets a better grip the Doberman grabs the toy with his mouth. He playfully growls but he doesn’t use his strength to shake his head and take it from the baby’s hand. The baby then uses both hands and the Doberman growls a little louder so the baby offered a kiss to show there was so ill will. The Doberman freely chose to let go of the toy to return the bonding gesture. Dobermans are not vain, selfish or stupid. What I saw was a display of 140 years of genetic breeding. Apparently what you saw was a baby that doesn’t have a vocabulary yet with corrupt values. That’s pretty messed up!
@@shaina2323yeah, but he is not wrong, especially with dogs like dobermann‘s! A lot of people with no experience buy breeds who are more difficult to handle just because „they like how they look“… and that’s exactly why this dogs often have a bad reputation! 😪 There are breeds who are beginner friendly and breeds who needs more experience and work and breeds who are really difficult to handle! Every breed could be bad trained or be aggressive if they are bad treated or trained, but with some breeds this happens faster and easier than with others.. I've had 3. 1 female and 2 males. All rescues. Our last one left us due to heart issues. 125 lb with natural ears. He was red and nobody believed he was a dobbie. All of our dobbies were as gentle as lambs with our children and grandchildren. Most intelligent and patient and loving dogs ever.
Kudos to whoever trained and socialized that Dobie. I'm not sure I would trust myself getting so close to a Dobie, never mind letting my defenseless little baby play so close to one!
I love Dobermann Pinschers so much. I remember when I was in early years of middle school, my dad got pissed off about something and was acting out toward me, my Kassie sprang up and pushes him off the stairs and just stood between us staring him down. Best dog ever.
The baby, is a little con artist.😂 😝 The baby, was able to outsmart a Doberman Pinscher, and a Doberman Pinscher, is like the [5th.] Smartest Dog Breed, on the Planet.....wow.😍☝️😉
That's a strong and very intelligent baby. Pulling the ring from the dog wasn't working, but a kiss worked fine. What a lovely sight these two.

Love how the dog actually hardly pulls the toy, cause he knows it's a baby❤❤
I noticed that too. It knew the exact amount of force needed for a good game of tug-o-War
Yeah, they know it's a human puppy
He will only pull just a little bit harder than you, it's a game.. who can go higher.. they are very smart.

Dobermans and boxers are the most trustworthy dogs I've met. They like to punch you of course, but otherwise, very polite. Good dogs.
Doberman couldn't resist the baby's kiss he gave in 😂
Forreal 😂
That's how they are. I tell mine "give me a kiss!" or to give one of my kids a kiss and he licks on command.

It's talking
True ! My Dobie lays on top of her blanket with a big ball of it in her mouth. She growls and kneads the blanket until she falls asleep.
Rotties are the same 😅
My dobbie Coco bean is her name literally talks she will just be laying on the bed and start growling and barking and making all sorts of random sounds so I get it
@RuthEsther-nn6qe .....that's ok. Sounds like you don't deserve the love and loyalty of a Doberman.
Clever baby 🥰🥰 Lured the beast with his/hers sweet kiss.
The kiss is So Adorable

Dobermans are the most loyal an loving companions. This baby is lucky to have one to grow up with. My kids childhood dog was a Blue Doberman 💙

This is why when I'm playing rough AF with my Doberman, i throw in some kisses between his eyes.

I like the gentle the Doberman was with the baby and how the baby went in for a kiss, adorable! ❤️
