Same here, the back padding and ventilation is rather poor. They are hot and sweaty even for a couple of hours of walk in shaded city excursion, let alone 2-5hrs hiking. The side pocket zipper is also not the smoothest. It’s very robust though.
I have a Fernveh and I can say it is a great bag. But definitely closer in size to something I want to take on three to five day treks and not just on a one day hike. The advantage of having both though gives flexibility in outdoor use. Thanks for the review. Anyone want to buy a lightly used thinktank back story 15.
My issue with this pack was the lack of padding: The dividers for the camera cube were not padded well enough on the older models of this pack and lenses and gear hit each other in the pack without much protection. The new dividers are not available for purchase, so the bag is essentially useless for me. It's also heavy (heavy empty weight) and the shoulder straps are not well padded for long hikes. I carried this thing for about 10 miles through the woods one day and my shoulders were killing me.
I have the Wandrd Fernweh for backpacking and I love it (just did a video on it), I’m thinking about this for more of an EDC, do you think it would be big enough for an overnight trip or weekend trip?
take a look at the model Fernweh by Wandrd. They improved the padding and it seems to be the better option for hiking and photography 😉 link to the kickstarter in the description
That's a personal choice but i found 21l to be enough for me. Also one time at the airport after measuring it was just barely admitted as a carry-on and i don't believe the 31l would have in that same situation..
@@EdwardKilner Please excuse me while I roll my eyes at your disbelief that someone with such a strong accent would more than likely not be "Canadian". I see your immigration hasn't made you entitled. Cosmopolitan indeed...
Kk: please read my comment again. I was actually saying I was not not at all shocked at your Canadian passport, and was actually pleased to see it. I was reacting to a previous post where someone else said they were shocked. I have worked with other Engineers in and from the far and near East, Europe, USA, and Canada. They were friendly, helpful, competent and would be assets to Canadian life if they ever chose to come here. I’m rather partial to Switzerland, beautiful place and I was treated well. I hope you are happy here in Canada.
Very nice review. Glad somebody actually use the product for a long term and gives an honest opinion.
Great review, loved the dog in the background 😂 4:13
That part got me laughing so hard lol! xD
Don't walk in the doggy pooh!
Omg that actually had me in hysterics! 🤣
I like the style of the video, nothing about the frat boy style jock jokes, and so on, just the simple review. Thanks!
I love how you can take out the camera cube so you can use the bag for other things. This bag is a masterpiece!
great review - i think the decisive factor for me is the lack of padding on the back, because its one of the things that bother me the most
Thanks for making this video! very helpful and you’re the only review so far that I’ve seen post a used bag. It seems to age very nicely!
Thanks for this review, I'm very tempted by this bag but want to male sure it's got what I need.

I'm thinking about buying this bag, looks like it's pretty tough! Nice revew!
I just bought the 31L version. Thanks for the overview of how Prvke bags work.
That's handy that you can roll out the top for extra space. I like the number of compartments as well 😃

Email wandrd with this issue, they may post you the new padding fee of charge, many people have had issues like this fixed via email
Funny your dog took a poop in comparison shot 4:15 lol 😝👍🏽
There is and never will be a perfect camera pack for all uses.
How tall are you?
We need a photography backpack with the airflow padding of an osprey backpack😭& lightweight but durable
I ordered it.... today. Still dunno how to read. Wondered Provoke?
It’s still great in 2021, but the bag itself is very heavy

You didn't like the back padding so much because of sweating. But is there a comparable photo backpack with better/different padding?

0:24 pre...previk.... whatever. You are killing me now.
Excelente producto. Saludos desde #Cuenca #Ecuador
Thanks man.
Great review! Does the 21 L fit a gimbal (the weebill S) in the front pocket? And does the laptop sleeve fit a 16 inch mb pro?
Hey Spiros! not sure about the gimbal as i don't own one. If your laptop isn't wider than 24cm (9.4") you should be fine.
If you could buy it again would you buy the 21 or 31l version
That's a personal choice but i found 21l to be enough for me. Also one time at the airport after measuring it was just barely admitted as a carry-on and i don't believe the 31l would have in that same situation..
4:15 wtf is with the dog taking a shit in the background? Great content man
HAHAHHAHHA PRVKE BAG - I HAD THE SAME FEELING READING THE STUPID NAME
The most shocking part of this video was when you pulled out a Canadian passport!
Why shocking? Because of my accent? 😂 That's because i grew up in Switzerland 🇨🇭 german is actually my native language. Have a great day 🤙
Wasn’t shocking to me as I have one just like it. Canada has many citizens from all over the world. Very cosmopolitan.

It's pronounced "Wandered Provoke" ... watch Spencer Cope's (founder) video...
its pronounced ----pro·voke. like the word provoke, they just spell it funny
Awesome backpack
HAHAHA THX! Now i know there a pocket on the bottom))))))
