    💜 Boracity Magazine: th-cam.com/video/XDPW2UD9Sws/w-d-xo.html
We watched Boracity Magazine's video called "south korea has a scandal problem | suga's "controversy" and more" WE ARE NOT TRYING TO EXCUSE HIS MISTAKE. We are bringing awareness to this smear campaign and how common it is for k-media to bully people. I really hope Yoongi is staying strong and is doing okay mentally cause this is just too much. I know ARMYs and BTS are supporting him and we'll continue to bring awareness to what is really going on.

We can update now that the media did not get any pics of Suga today. And the police are not releasing any dates when they meet with him… so I hope I hope that they don’t get the opportunity to mob him.
Also really proud of ARMYs collective effort in standing up to the media. They/we were able to pressure JTBC into an apology and 2 advertisers withdrew from them. As well as Korea Now has now issued an apology and deleted their video. Korea Now actually published a video talking about some of the same points for a boracity did so there’s that for small changes

The Kmedia got clowned so bad today. It was reported that Yoongi will be at the police station for questioning on the 22nd and the media legitimately formed a barrier in front of the police station, in front of the doorway and even formed a barrier with their cars so that Suga HAS to tear through them to enter and they could confront him and get their "shots" like the little hyenas that they are, they waited there for 7 hours. I hope it was done so that they can see what the media’s plan of attack is and can plan accordingly how to handle it. Perhaps the police should create a path that the media can’t block. Or Army now sees what it has to do to block the cameras. Or better yet, the police announces one police station only to switch it to another one at the last minute.

Sorry for my English. I am a foreigner and have been studying in Korea for 4 years now. The sad thing is that Kmedia always targets BTS every chance they get. This time Suga was wrong. But his mistake did not deserve such insult. Kmedia said he lied, saying he drove very fast and fell and couldn't get up. But the truth is that he drove very slowly and can stand up on his own. He also doesn't ride a scooter. Army, there are many people who always hope for us to fail. Therefore, we need to be stronger to protect BTS from Kmedia - the country where they wholeheartedly promote culture.

Your comment about the belief in the cult in SK even by young people (I'm admit I'm assuming) really startled me. Because we had seen how upset K-ARMY was earlier this year and frankly distressed about those articles, but since we are so removed we mostly just laugh at their absurdity. I would love to see someone interview random people in SK about articles (that have been proven to be lies or were never more than rumors pretending to be stories) to see what they still believe.
Because I think even as I-ARMY we can tell there is a black market campaign going on against BTS, BH and Hybe, but to most of us it was so absurd as to not be taken seriously, but we may need to reframe that, and it may help to expose a part 2 to their scandal culture story... the actual long-term impacts of the society.

That industry and the kmedia have always been envious that everything BTS have achieved in that country is due to their effort, not to the media play that other groups do have and that is not liked in that country. I will never forget or forgive the treatment Yoongi is receiving. My opinion of SK has changed over the years, and at the moment my opinion is not positive. My desire to visit that country has disappeared. The national treasury is not treated in this way.

I don't know if it happened or is happening in Korea. But we have had cases where the media organizations that spread false rumors without checking them in depth were sued by the celebrities who were harmed by it for huge sums, lost and had to pay a lot of money. Since money is a very important element for the media, in my opinion and unfortunately even more so than the credibility of the reporting for many of them, claims of this type can make them think twice before publishing information without solid evidence that it is true.
The fact that the media is complicit in these lies is the real scandal.

As K-army i'd say JTBC is "D"rating, small and unpopular news outlet in Korea
their ratings are as low as 8% and Korean public has not trusted JTBC for a long time.
There are about 400 K-Pop groups in Korea, including trainees, and the competition is fierce.

i posted this on another reaction video in response to a black pink stan but still wanted to post my reply here because im so tired of kpop stans BS. fanwars need to stop not even because theyre dumb or not valid sometimes they are valid. but if anyone actually cares about their favorite idols or groups or actors or korean celebrities in general then fanwars need to stop.
stop the BS if it were a female idol it HAS been female idols, actress and so many other famous people in korea have done WORSE but yoongi is the only one who gets 200 articles A DAY. theres a huge difference between hate online from rival fandoms vs hate from YOUR OWN PEOPLE in media and general public. and if you were smart youd see boracity said ALL scandals that are small shouldnt be scandals this means NOT just bts related but ALL idols, korean celebrities etc
only the very serious cases should be considered scandals like k wording people or trafficking or SA etc
stop weaponizing the gender card every time people defend bts cause youre not fooling anyone.
you fandom is just as guilty in EVERY fanwar between blinks and armys. so cut the BS lying. thats not even the point. the point is IF jennie or lisa or any other member drank and took their kickboard home a third of a mile at the same speed as suga and fell from that sharp turn was wearing her helmet and in the right lane etc and people started to hate her the same amount theyre doing to suga MAJORITY of army would help defend her especially if you explained that you dont want what happened to Lee Sun-kyun the actor from parasite to happen to her we would majority support you and defend her no questions asked. this is above fanwars open your eyes. remember sulli, remember goo hara, remember jonghyun, remember Lee Sun-kyun. its time international kpop stans who GENUINELY love their respective fave idols/groups to come together regardless of fanwars to push for south korea to stop letting idols and celebrities in korea get hated to the point of unaliving. i have stopped personally from hating on blackpink or any other idols since Lee Sun-kyun death last year. if youre tired and youre worried about jennie and the other members of blackpink's mental health stop playing the gender card and start spreading the word of enough is enough its time to start helping the idols see their worth and know even if korea turns their backs the rest of the global fandoms dont and wont.
as kendrick lamar said "if shit hits the fan is you still a fan?" if we give idols and celebrities in korea the power to ignore korean media and public and antis and akages and they see theyll always have support globally unless they do something morally wrong like k wording someone or SA etc then maybe theyll all stop catering to korean standards. theyll date publicly and never apologize for it. theyll curse, theyll wear what they want as long it doesnt offend cultures or history and isnt appropriation. theyll perform and tour in more places theyre welcome especially european countries, african countries, australia, latin american countries, india etc places kpop groups dont tour often or at all etc im sick and tired of fan wars and people d wording for no reason due to hate. so please think bigger than petty fanwars. it could be any idol next if this is what they can do to A BTS MEMBER imagine what can be done to any other idols and what will happen because clearly media, police and knetz dont learn the first however many times this happened already.

Most of the time it’s antis posing as fans to start a fan war. Don’t engage. We all know that most of the idols know each other and many from different groups/labels are actually friends. They would not approve of their fans criticizing their friends during hardships. Real fans know this and wouldn’t want to do something their idols dislike. Haters gonna hate. They’re poisoning their own life with it. Living well is the best revenge. May BTS and Army live long, healthy, prosperous and happy lives. 💜💜💜

It's hard for me to understand as someone from a--- more level-headed culture when it comes to media, but this whole scandal (and it's the press and antis acting scandalously, with not a modicum of grace or good intentions) makes me think of what they did to Tablo. I can't believe how people just bandwagoned on him with absolutely no credible proof, WHILE he was presenting very convincing proof even though he shouldn't have had to, and people were sending him death threats (which would have been wrong even if the malicious rumor was true ffs), he was scared for the safety of his family and his newborn daughter, it's sickening. In this case though, the media is fanning the flames much more and there's clearly malicious intent in the way they are "reporting", so I'm forever thankful that Suga is strong, that ARMY are strong and will always strive to protect him.

When I was sharing the message, some people were like: "Just ignore: the truth will come out". Like...Yes, the truth will always come out but we want *justice*. If Yoongi must be taken accountable for his crime, then the Antis and the media should as well. BTS and ARMY fought their way through everything. We didn't get here by standing and watching people try to burn them alive. ARMY is BTS' shield and some people should actually take part instead of sharing some delusional shipping edits

As Min Hee-jin said, no one cares if rumors spread and the truth is revealed later. (It's not even covered by the media.)

    My dear Suga.
Don't be so hard on yourself, have more compassion and love for yourself.
I can imagine what you're feeling, because I'm very similar to you. When I make mistakes, even if they're trivial, I treat myself the way you're treating yourself and I think I've betrayed the trust of the people around me. According to my therapist, I have to learn to make more mistakes, that way, maybe I'll be able to feel that we're human and capable of making mistakes all the time. We're not perfect and we're going to make mistakes, yes, the important thing is to learn and move on. She recommended the book The Courage to Be Imperfect. I recommend reading it, it's very painful, but necessary.
I can't speak for all Army, but my concern about what Kmedia and haters are doing is not about BTS or their careers per se, because BTS and Army are forever, but how you would feel if you thought you weren't perfect for Army.
My love, you will always be perfect for Army, Army, more than you know that mistakes happen and are part of life.
You didn't disappoint any Army and I'm sure that not even your BTS family thinks so.
Army is fighting against a structure and organizations that make this world a sick world, and they want to keep the world the way it is today, without compassion for others, lies and corruption in all sectors of our daily lives.
Your case is important and I say historic, because it is revealing that organizations that were supposed to protect the people, bringing honesty in information, are in fact the ones that harm society, with their own interests above the truth.
I'm "happy" that this is coming to light because of a banal event and especially because it's with you, because you, my dear kitty, have ancient wisdom, I'm "happy" that they brought you as Suga from BTS, because you have us, the Armys, who are people who came together because you exist, we are people who lived in contradiction with the current world (full of hatred, corruption and prejudice).
All this fighting that is happening is because it became clear, like sunlight, that what they were reporting is a pure lie, with the intention of hurting and exterminating those who are against this corrupt system.
Army's victory this week is thanks to you (Suga from BTS).
Once again, BTS and Army show to the world that it really is sick, that there is a lot to be done, to change and for us to continue fighting against.
Don't fall into the repertoire that you are making anyone suffer, you will never make Army suffer, because we love you with mistakes and successes.
That is what bad people want you to feel so that you feel guilty.
You are not guilty, you are the person who is showing the world how sick the world is.
I love you, be kinder to yourself, receive the love of Armys not as a burden, but as Love, simply Love

The thing is that Min Yoongi is beating himself up enough. The way I see it is that no matter how drunk he might have been, he chose a scooter over a car. He chose to wear his helmet and ride the scooter where he was supposed to. He made choices ( while drunk) that did show responsibility and I BELIEVE him when he said that he did not know the law includes small scooters like the one he was on and even though the witch hunt is so ASININE, it is far from funny. he is feeling true remorse for making such a mistake.
I used to want to visit Korea, but I don’t anymore. Why should I visit a country that is way too light on sex and abuse laws, a country with an extremely high drinking culture but still drags someone’s name in the dirt for making a mistake… a mistake that did NOT put anyone in danger except Min Yoongi scraping his knee… a country with the HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF SU!S!DE. Yet they don’t do shit about this toxic cancel culture they gladly join in on. 😞

    Re-share:
This post is credited to the OP.
I was thinking if I will post this but the eagerness on me to post this is for some ARMYs who didn't understand the scenario of the whole thing.
This is from a conversation on SNS which covers the whole facts.
(OP) The police clearly said there will be no photoline. K-media went against it and created a photoline anyway illegally, the biggest photoline you ever seen… and I think this was the turning point. Korean artists started to show Yoongi open support even despite the risks, and Korean locals turned to his favor, because they have eyes. They see the sheer extent of harassment and hounding he is suffering over a minor traffic law violation without any harm done. Instead of getting him cancelled, the journalists made people empathize for him.
question: I have is how the police let that illegal gathering happen at their own station? Couldn’t they have told them to leave since it’s illegal?
The Korean po/lice is incompetent and corrupt. They failed their duties the moment this started, and also failed the 2 week deadline for this investigation. Yoongi is also being deliberately used to divert public attention from a huge political scandal going on, including the presid/ent's incoming cri/minal charges, so it wouldn't surprise me if someone in a high governmental position just made a call to the station and told them to allow the press or lose their jobs.
the delaying tactics of 👮🏻‍♂️ in sending the summon, then 📰tried to portray that 😺 was the one avoiding and making delays of the investigation.
some po/lice/men leak information to the media. That's a fact.
Some likely with connections to law officers or by bri/bery.
poli/ce being slow is nothing new, especially over minor things, but allowing this to happen at the station is like saying protests can’t happen in a poli/ce station while allowing one to happen the next day. They could’ve told them to wait outside the gate and yg got in the car.
I think they r used to bully ppl to do anything they want because they control the narrative n being an army 4 a while now they always made the mistake that we give a damn about their opinions or they even affect 1 hair on 1 member of BTS those ppl they are merrily arrogant fools.
They’ll need to realize sooner or later that bts are more influential than sk, and they’ll will never get to see their downfall. I just know that they guys are coming back and they won’t be taking any bs thrown at them.
They could but they dont want to. The same way they should just end the investigation since this is such a minor thing but nope, they had to drag it for days now. They cant even test his BAC. But they just need to show people, "hey look, i did my job fairly even for big artists"
They need a scapegoat. They found one so like a hyena, everybody is on it. Just like the late actor. The media is the one that keeps the fire alive, making it bigger and bigger but the police are the ones that keep providing the wood for the fire.

The more international kpop becomes by amazing bands, its only becoming more apparent that there is pejorative trend from makeup, to ships, through to minute details of any band members that appears to be scrutinised by those who find this these behaviour acceptable!!!!! It’s not any band members but it’s the mentality of fandoms and their relevant companies representing them that needs to be reviewed! It’s their overexposure and lack of privacy that needs to be reviewed! I agree it is the thirst for mombojumbo that is found baffling for international audiences and the alarming rate of intrusion of their lives! Before any more self exits by members of any band! Stop! Stop! They are music bands! Listen to their music, they are not owned by you. Stop this deranged obsession! Get your life going with reality not delusional behaviour! Simply live your life! ❤💜

If this is truly so serious in South Korea, I'd like to see numbers of electric kick boards drop in use by a massive amount as a result of this but we all know that's not gunna happen. What a frustrating situation... and Yoongi probably has to move now too that his front door has been broadcast to the world.

Hi Rosa, a bit late in "joining" this mostly negative issue, but am glad you finally did.
Of course, we should be updated continually about this, so we could react accordingly to help support BTS.
But my biggest question is, WHY do the few reputable YT BTS supporters ONLY focus on this? Plus, the MHJ vs HYBE scandal.
WHY is there almost NO news about the other side of the pendulum that could actually HELP counter the negativity clouding the reputation & image of BTS & HYBE?
I know bad news sells more.
Still, I think we should provide a balanced treatment to solve this by ALSO uploading & posting POSITIVE news from the ONLY BTS member who is free & actively promoting his Ch. 2 activities that have greatly impacted the WORLD, not just S. Korea! Don't you agree?
Sadly, I've only seen the MEDIA reporting this, while most so-called ARMY has been quiet, and some even joining antis to bring him down.
Starting from the ARMY boycotters posting wrong rejection of FRED & Gucci as "Z" brands, to protesting to MBC because they only focused on Seokjin in their promotion of the var-show "Half-star Hotel in Lost Island"! Never mind the fact that it was Seokjin they invited first!
Yes, a member-focused "ARMY" acct did this, but has deleted the post after so many protests from other ARMYs.
Where is our PRIDE in BTS impacting the world positively?
When even the Paris 2024 Olympics committee has been so proud of Seokjin, how can we disregard this news so blatantly?
And now, Seokjin has been appointed as Honorary Seoul Ambassador!
You're going to Seoul soon. What are you going to discuss about this NEW HONOR to BTS & HYBE?

I'm here watching your reaction to this whole situation today and I just want to say thank you for saying we should post "the shot" that will eventually come out in articles.
It was satisfying when HYBE let the press sit there for 7 hours and then announced they didn't know when Yoongi would go lol
A couple of hours ago Yoongi went to the police station for the investigation and I sadly the video of "the shot" showed up in my fyp and that sht broke my heart and made my blood boiled. He really didn’t have to do apologize again to "the ones who got hurt and disappointed". The fact he bowed to the kmedia who has been defaming him for many days... And they keep harassing him after that?? I saw an article of a journalist there writing that criticism will rise and it's just not going to look good for Yoongi if he doesn't look directly on the eyes or cameras of the reporters there.. like LEAVE HIM ALONE ?!!#&
I'm glad I didn't saw more pics after that one bc armys really didn't interact. I love how we all have been so active showing constant love to Yoongi in posts and now charting his whole Agust D discography! That's hood and i hope yoongi notice and feel in some way our support and gain strength.
Armys please keep reporting the heck out the accs sharing these images and don't interact! The last thing we wanna see is Yoongi bowing cuz of the media . The fact he showed up and apologized again says a lot of him as a person bit fr.. he didn't need to bc the media are the ones who should apologize for spreading malicious lies and defaming him tf
Also, why is this still an ongoing investigation?? like it's not that deep Yes, he made a mistake riding drunk a scooter but we all saw the video and he was doing it hella slow, wearing a helmet and he indeed told us the truth on his weverse post. Like I'm not trying the minimize the situation it all but come on.. police and media taking this case as if he run off 50 people driving drunk in car or something
    YOONGU FUTURE'S GONNA BE OKAY
    STAY STRONG

I didn’t know the reporters wanted him to look them or the camera in the eye. Isn’t that weird?? Korean reporters are on a power trip. They’re engorged on their own power and use it for bad. They’re abusers. Horrible. I’d be so embarrassed if our media were this bad.

We, the real ARMY, stand by Suga 100%. Yes he made a mistake... he admitted it and is taking responsibility for his actions. After all, he is only human and we have never put him or any of the Bangtan boys, on a pedestal. We know Suga isn't perfect. He has always been honest and open about his past struggles and imperfections. That is why we are all so protective of him. We've been with him as he struggled to conquer all his "demons" from his past. Seeing him become more confident and relaxed during his Suchwita show and watching him go through the "Amygdala door" at the end of his last concert, made us so proud and happy for Suga! We all breathed a sigh of relief..."he's going to be Ok now!" Then THIS happens!!! Aaaggghhh!!! Makes me want to scream in frustration! I hope and pray that Suga stays strong and positive, despite all this negativity. ARMY will always stand by you, dear Yoongi! We love you...we love BTS! 다 괜찮아질 거야 (Everything will be okay...from Snooze) This too will pass! 💜💜💜

It's just too much. People forgets that celebrities are human too , not some special species.
If they even make a tiny mistake , the media and some group of people will exaggerate it too much and let it spread like they committed heinous crime. South korea is just like this , all the time dating rumors , break up rumors and now this. Its clearly not yoongi's fault but he had to apologise. I despise it.

As a foreigner, ever since I got pulled over for riding my 'segway' in Korea without a helmet while I saw teenagers & adults zooming behind the officer i was talking to riding the same ride without a helmet too, if i see an officer way up ahead i just get off and walk and wait to pass them to avoid issue. lol Korea and their laws need more fixing and to be less dramatic. My boyfriend didn't even know that you are supposed to wear a helmet for all wheeled rides. So I think Suga's case is the most dramatic piece of news i ever seen
