Well uncle Chieng have always been my solution to the heat in Orchard road. There is a special ice cream you can try ordering from him is called the peanut ice cream, which is either a simple vanilla or coconut ice cream with multitudes of peanut.

uncle chieng has been my go-to old school ice cream at orchard road! I patronis his stall not only because of his fame, but really salute for toiling so hard for close to 6 decades selling this traditional ice cream. It's my childhood and my most favourite snack in my teens :)
Will try Monarchs & Milkweed if i am in town too, looks damn awesome :)

Uncle was super sporting, and can see Eric was quite patient too.
Personally ate both Uncle's mix flavour cone ice cream and Eric's brown butter sage are pretty darn good!
