I think Hela might need a slight bit of tweaking. Maybe some slower projectile speed or 10% reduction to her damage. She feels a liiiiiittle too good. Other than that you're pretty much on point. Cap, Widow and Storm often feel downright useless.
I think it’s less “buff because op” and more buff/nerf to limit characters like iron fist and hela who actively decrease the amount of fun that people have in matches that they’re in
Loving all the Marvel Rivals content I've been consuming since the game came out! I've been enjoying playing Winter Soldier ("AGAIN" "A G A I N" "A G A I N") despite wanted to play the game due to seeing my favorite hero Spiderman was in the game (he's just so brutally hard to play well with).
A lot of it is just me being silly. It's how I used to play WoW and other games where I pvp. Fighting games too. I'm very chill and toned down off camera. The frustration part is still there though. Stupid iron man....
Also,for people who may not know Magneta is really OP If you time his ult perfect,he can absorb many ults that involve metal,for example,if you charge the ult while Star lord is ulting, you'll absord all his bullets making him useless
I'm undecided if Magneto is the second best tank after Strange. He kinda just fits on any team so he probably is. Groot is very good though, but I'm not sure he's as universally useful as Magneto. But Groot can absolutely carry a team.
Personally I think Overwatch is good, the community for it is bad but the game is good. I do also like Marvel Rivals. I've just been doing Easy AI matches to farm the team-up challenges but have been enjoying Storm and Adam Warlock. Played a match as Loki and loved him, also played a match as Scarlet Witch and enjoyed her. Peni is neat too. Played Scarlet in a match where no team-ups were available, did the same with Loki and Adam. The one Peni game I played as I was heading to objective at the start of the match someone who had already ocked in something else went Venom which I and our Spidey had requested and thanks to that wonderful person I got 2 of the 3 team-up elims needed in my first Peni AI match. She is SO fun, place the nest around a corner, extend it with some of her web shots so the drones can play on objective and then just shoot enemies and also web snare them to help secure kills for myself and teammates. I'm not planning to play Spidey because he feels like a melee version of Genji and as a controller player who is in it for fun instead of being a god I don't have the aim speeds to do the quick aim spins needed for such an ultra high-speed mobility hero.
"Overwatch if it wasn't made by blizzard, so it's good." Not even a minute in and already he's roasting Blizzard, and I'm here for it. They stole all my Overwatch 1 shit just so they could force everyone into their dumb F2P battle pass ecosystem.
I played WoW for 13 years or so. I got to see Blizz fall from being awesome to horrid. The Overwatch 2 stuff should be studied on how to ruin a successful franchise by somehow going backwards on everything you did.
I'll give you that it looks better than Overwatch, but these days I treat "Free to Play" as more of a warning sign then a positive. More often then not, it hurts the game as they need to squeeze in other, often more predatory, ways to get your money and, in the process, waste your time. Also, I'm more of a PvE gamer, so it's hard to get worked up about frenetic, PvP, hero shooters.
@Beelz Were, were you ok when playing Penni? 😅 Even my stoic houserabbits were "WTF is this?!" And thumped at me (because obviously everything is my fault).
The character I have the most time on is Mantis (love the green kamen rider skin). But I wasn't sure healing footage would go over too well on a first video (not as... exciting?). But I normally get forced into Tank/Healer situations when the team doesn't want to. I swap around a lot to fit what others need. I play a decent bit of Strange, Thor, Magneto as well. The Groot footage at the end was my.. second game with him I think. He's very fun! If I do more videos I'll definitely add some healing/tanking to even things out.

The game doesn't need to nerf characters....just buff all the "mid" characters so they are all OP

@Beelz55 Hela currently has 20% damage bonus from the season bonus, so she will likely be nerfed once this season ends
need to both nerf and buff, otherwise you get power creep where everyone is one shotting people and team fights end in 5 seconds

I’ve been loving Marvel Rivals lately. I’ve mostly played tanks and am usually the only one but Peni Parker is so good it hardly ever matters
