The Police... hehehehehehehhheh Imagine the relief Mr Summers felt to play those The Police's songs without having to deal with The Police guys... lol
U mean Sting ! Even though he was ( is ) the link between Stewart and Sting issues they used to have. I bet he loves being with his felllows , for sure !It's priceless !
Assisti o Call the Police no Vivo Rio, se não me engano em 2018. Sensacional!!!
Great job guys! Andy is such an influential player - one of my most formative musical memories is of seeing ‘Roxanne’ on TV. I still want his Telecaster!
Both are famous musicians in Brazil and Latin America, members of Brazilian rock bands "Barão Vermelho" (Rodrigo, the bassist) and "Paralamas do Sucesso" (Barone, the drummer). Both bands had their primes in the 80's/90's as The Police. Barone is a superb drummer and his ska/reggae/rock style and rhythm is similar to Copeland. All the members of The Police know these Brazilian guys for decades and Sting said, more than one time, that Bi Ribeiro, the bassist of "Paralamas do Sucesso" (Barone's band) is a better bassist than himself.
This is just plain wrong. Can you imagine Paul McCartney reforming the Beatles with "highly accomplished" session musicians. Its just completely ridiculous and serves no purpose what so ever.
@@jimrowland7388 ? Hey Jim. As I’m sure you’re aware Sting has never sought to market the name of his old band for purpose of reforming the police using session musicians to play nothing other than police material. His career since 85 has consistently been based around a solid body of solo material which is a million miles away from reforming a group under the banner of the word ‘Police’ and performing nothing other than police songs which basically amounts to a karaoke show and brings nothing new to the table. Having followed the band for 42 years I’m open and honest in telling it as it is. The only grounds in which the band could ever reasonably be be reformed and marketed using the word ‘police’ (other than the three of them getting back together again) would be a situation in which the person whose band it was from the outset (Stewart) might choose to reform the band as a creative force using Andy in conjunction with a different lead singer as per the route taken by Eddie Van Halen when he saw the potential for a new beginning with Sammy. I don’t ever see Stewart wanting to go down that route where he has his own busy life to live based around his own solo material in much the same way as sting does. But thanks for the feedback.
@@jimrowland7388 Vinnie and Dominic are definitely influenced by the sound/style of Copeland and Summers, but Sting's solo work is still that of a high caliber and entirely original. Sting has always surrounded himself with great musicians.

Caracaaaaa!!! O timbre da voz do Rodrigo é igualzinha a do Sting! Cêéloco!
Concordo!!!!!
This made me smile huge. Love that kick drum head!
Great job guys! Andy is such an influential player - one of my most formative musical memories is of seeing ‘Roxanne’ on TV. I still want his Telecaster!
Impressionante. Estupefato com o vocal do Rodrigo.
Genial!!
Awesome!
Sensacional ! Sempre gostei dessa batida dos Paralamas e Police !!!
The drummer and singer/bass player had big shoes to fill. They did a pretty good job with their own approach.

they both are huge in the brazilian music scenario
Brilliant take fellas!
The Police , best ever !
Só fera! Estão de parabéns! 👏👏👏

Sounds like the police to me 👍🏼👍🏼 Andy should have put this together years ago, the right people are worth waiting for
Demais !
Sim, o paralamas fazia cover do the police no início de carreira.
Good job, is not easy, but they are doing great!
Uau/Wow!
Foda!!!!!! Call The Police.
que orgullo Rodrigo! LPMQLP filho!
Rodrigo mandou bem nesse vocal.
Meeeeeu....Rodrigo parece o Sting cantando!!!!
Perfeita observação!
Orgulho brasuca
And during the guitar solo the camera shows... not Andy ;-(
3:27 not me but Andy!!!!
🙏🦋❤️🙏🤘🤘 for ever
Barone tá muito comportado nessa bateria. Ele é um dos melhores do Brasil
Andy e Barone juntos caralho
🤘
PAIN !
🎼🎵🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸
Uáu!!
#RIGBY80
O vocal parece o baixista do barão
E é ele mesmo kkk
E o batera do Paralamas 😂
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
E o guitarrista parece o Andy Verões!
How the hell is andy 80? 😮
yikes.. the cam guy is a little lost. lol

A bit of vocal post production it seems but otherwise nice and good and fun
too muddy sounding, but the soul is there 💛
ooof,...not very good...

Like what Paul did with The Wings?
@@NegoClau exactly!...like he so definitely didn’t join forces with Linda with any intention of forming a Beatles tribute band!
Or like what Sting does with Dominic & Vinnie?

Horrendous
I liked the bassist/singer telling the camera operator to shoot Andy Summer's guitar solo (which for some reason he was totally ignoring)
Barone toca pracaralho
Not my bag . Sorry Andy
Sensacional.
