Just love all your knits in progress, I can’t knit at the moment due to a back problem,so seeing your knits my Raverly queue has grown yet again lol Your new yarn is stunning and can’t wait to see what you do with it ❤
oh dear sorry to hear your back is not good..hope it improves soon. I am so excited for my new yarns making it hard for me to decide what to make ! thanks for watching Carol
@@HedgerowStitching 😂😂 no I haven’t made a felix, I am a very new knitter and am currently knitting my first sleeveless sweater… it is taking me forever 🙄 I have had to tink practically every part so far. I do have a felix on my ever expanding to do list, i believe it’s a reasonably easy project?
Hello Rebecca, lovely video thank you. Your felix is beautiful and so nice you have used the wool from your own sheep. Do you spin the wool yourself? X
@@HedgerowStitching That’s funny, I did a beginners day course two days ago. I found it SO difficult but have ordered a wheel anyway …. I’m determined to master it !
Keep on go8ng with the spinning, and if you have to, start with a drop spindle or borrow an electric wheel, so you only have to think of one thing at the time. If you don't spin yourself, and have it spun up at a mill, do you sell your yarn somewhere?
I love your new Felix sweater! And I would love to make myself one in Zwartbles. But, as a Dutch person, I always slightly cringe when I hear zwartbles pronounced like that. Zwart means black, and bles means blaze. Black sheep with white blaze. So it is two separate words strung together (as we do all the time in Holland). Zwart is pronounced like the English word cart, with a t! Bles sounds like bless as in bless you. So zwartbles rhymes with cart bless. Hope that makes sense 😅. New viewer and love your content. Just subscribed!
Currently working on a beautiful cabled cardi from Harrisville designs called the Oneiric cardigan. I am using yarn from New Lanark Spinning Mill. I am loving it! Also spinning up a storm on my Turkish spindles. Glad I have found your podcast. I will go back and check out your older episodes too
hi rebecca - so...i watched this video soon after you posted, left a comment, and don't see it now. then, in my cue, this same video appeared as un-watched. as i'm writing this new comment, there is only one more comment below this one - which was not the case when i first commented. for some reason, youtube really messes up over here in the states with my British youtubers - this has happened to me before - my comment simply disappears and things with the video are all wonky. any idea what's going on? thanks - libby in utah
Hi Rebecca, so happy to see you again! Love seeing all the beautiful knits in your own wool!! You live in such a gorgeous place and Betty is a doll!
thank you Rebecca , the beach in the photo you have to hike down the cliff to , bit scary in the strong winds!!
