Nice video, great to se my hometown like this! By the way at around 22:50 while talking about Norway being done with the oil you are actually literally walking past the tents they are setting up for the biggest oil convention in the world (ONS 2022) 😂
Welcome to stavanger. I would love to see more of you guys small businesses. I know many traditional waffle places owned by some incredible people. There’s a local souvenir shop in the colourful street you visited I think making a conscious effort to find the local business as well as the routes would definitely make a difference. Next time you’re in Norway, let me know I can give you some tips :) And tips for anyone travelling here via cruise. Grab a coffee in a small coffee shop and lunch in a local restaurant. Check out those hidden gems in the alley ways ;) Check out the east of stavanger ❤
I was in Stavanger on a cruise several years ago. I went to the Petroleum Museum, and it was one of the most interesting museums I have ever been to. It was also a beautiful day that day.
Hello from Orlando! Former digital nomads here. Our family of 5 is going on this cruise in June. Thank you SO MUCH for this series!!!!! Super super helpful.
Oh, This is where I live, and I walk past there ships all the time. Thanks for showing me the inside of the cruise ship bit, and it was so fun see your impressions. Too bad you only stayed for a short amount of time because there was so many treasures you missed out on, but that's the cruise ship way of travel I guess. Thanks for visiting and I'm happy liked it in Stavanger!
This trip is my absolute favorite of all you e done. Beautiful and interesting. It’s also on my bucket list. I would love to cruise full time. Dunno how to start though. Love that you’re just doing your thing and taking us along.
Well its official, you two are my favorite trolls of all time! :) Hardly interesting facts: - Norway and Sweden have the same name of their currency: Krona (meaning Crown in English). Denmark are more fancy and sticks an "e" at the end: Krone. - All three languages are very similary. Norwegians and Sweds have no problem understanding each other. But when the Danes shows up both of us goes: "Please swallow your beer before you speak!". - Norwegian cows are protected by law. So all beef comes from cows that are volunteers! - How do you sink a Norwegian submarine? You swim down and knock at the hatch! Looking forward to see your stay in Flam. Stay safe.
"I wonder if the people that live here… Are they happy..” No they are not..😅 But we are many others really happy to see the ships come in to the Norwegian ports 👌🏻😊
What a great vlog! Your definitely making me want to go to Norway. I agree with you cruising is the best. You get a place to sleep, food, entertainment, and beautiful ports. If I tried to plan a week long vacation it would be way more expensive than a cruise.
Omg. TH-cam recommended your channel to me 1.5 weeks ago bc I love watching Disney cruise n I really feel in love with you 2 as a couple n have been watching your videos while at work (I work from home). N was surprised on your first video on what you must take on a cruise you didn’t mention what you have around neck. 😂 I’ve been watching all your videos now hoping you’d say what you where around your neck 😂😂😂 so this dinner question is great!
I was wondering about the pouch. I figured that you kept your phones in there. Now you say camera equipment and I wonder if you have the DJI wireless mics in there. Your audio always sounds so good. I never really hear any wind noise so the pouches, if you have mics in there, could act as a dead cat. Otherwise those DJI's just have really good audio.
Just added your magnets to my Christmas list! I love the one for Towel Animals. Our last 7 day cruise on Oasis we only got 3. Dinner Time Question: What is your favorite included restaurant at sea?
Hi Guys. I live in Orlando and we are planning a trip to Norway with the same stops as you. We are so excited and wanted to say thanks for all the information in your videos.
Being someone who has not visited Europe. When going on a cruise in Europe, how do you go about preparing your currency? Do you exchange it it that country or did you come prepared?
Cash is rarely needed. Most things can be payed for by credit card. Its also usual very safe. Consult with your bank before leaving to check with them for advice. Normal you get a better exchange rate when using the card than you do if you buy cash. Again, check with your bank if the take some kind of extra fee for transaction in foreign currency.
Well you did it. Things you did on this video we talk about when we finally decide to do a Norway cruise. Kelly my significant other was beside herself when you were looking at the trolls. They are on her must get list. Like your self guided tours and We agree they are better than some pre built ship tours. Thank you for great content.
It's NOT stupid to have McDonald's and Starbucks when abroad! They always have local items that cater to local tastes and that's totally worth checking out! I like to refer to USD as "Amerimoney".
Hi guys! We are heading to Norway in a couple weeks on Anthem. Question about the cash…. Did you stop at an ATM there or did you do a money exchange at the airport in London? I hope you see this msg before we go. :)
we got it at our local bank before we left! i think every place we went to accepted credit cards, but we didn’t want the foreign transaction fee. ok the last day of the cruise we converted it back to USD at the front desk onboard
I was on a fall foliage cruise last week and I went to a Starbucks and found both Montreal and Quebec. Prettier than just Canada. I did find Germany and Denmark on my Baltic cruise. I think next year I'll be going to Norway
oh thats smart, we just carry a back pack that has our memory cards or if we need to change batteries haha. but those little clips 😂😂😂 that would have been hilarious
that's how it was when I visited my sister in Alaska! in July. I was just chillen and all the sudden it was 3am 😳 and it was still bright outside and I was like oh I'm screwed, because my niece wakes up at like 7am haha
I also did Norway earlier this year, and also found the ports to just be SO pretty. Also, your comments about being dressed for the weather cracked me up - I bet your ship was full of Brits - if we're on holiday, we'll be wearing shorts and t-shirt regardless of the weather...!!
I love your videos! My partner and i have always been interested in cruises because we live in a port city so we see lots of ships coming and going. But we have never been on any of them. My question is, do you find really good deals and is it best to go through a travel agent or just scour websites online? Or another method? Thank you both!!
Finally, I’ve been patiently waiting for this video. I’m glad you tired the mickeyDs there, I regret not trying the gyro Big Mac when I was in Athens 😢
How much puffin money do you recommend taking for you cruise? Also did you find it difficult to communicate in English in the different towns or did a lot of people speak English?
We brought about $300 worth of puffin money, we liked using it just because it was fun, but every place we went to took credit cards/apple pay, so you really don’t need to bring any. We exchanged our unused puffin money at the front desk on the ship for dollars after left our last Norway port. Everyone spoke english well enough to communicate with us, we never had a problem with that!
it's alright that's what we're gonna do in Vietnam! they have a Starbucks so I'm curious what they will have in their starbucks, of course we will also go to local places but curious what it'll be like. my husband said the McDonalds in Japan was so different
Hey how can I download that route, we going summer next year and am interesting to do that path, how much was this excursion , did u booked with royal carribean
I bought your magnets and put them out on our door and the 2 magnets were stollen! We’re so sad! It was like the first day also. So now the rest of our magnets are indoor magnets 😢
We totally get wanting to try Starbucks/McDonald’s while traveling abroad to try the country’s different menu items! Hopefully the wedding trolls will be in your near future 😉❤
man do all you youtubers have secret meetings on where to go 😂😂 everyone I watch on a regular basis 4 out if the 5 were in Norway almost the same exact time lol
You must have been fabulous on the balance beam but it appears you have matured and the result is top heavy. Please stay off the tightrope I don’t want you to hurt yourself.
Right? :) I always plan my activities so that the "risky" things comes at the END of the trip. Very sad when you hurt yourself on the first day of your vacation! But we all wanna see both of them in the flowrider right? Common folks! If we cheer them on we might get them to do it! 😉
ya know, if you guys actually took this seriously you could really do this full time. This whole posting videos with weeks of space is not good for a brand.
The most underrated channel on TH-cam! Love your videos
Dinner time question: when will he propose?
Best question ever
….
Dinner question …
Will you Marry Me 🎉
Superb video ! I would go on this cruise based solely on this video 🎉🎉🎉 thank you 😊

This was our first time in Stavanger also. Agree with you, it was great to walk around. Can’t wait for the Flam vlog, as that was a great stop also
some cruise lines do not let you bring onboard a drone, how do you manage to get beautiful drone footage?
Royal and Celebrity still allow drones for now. As far as we know they are the last 2 cruise lines that allow them
@@Views-And-Queues so no way around for lines that do not allow! was hoping you had a way to pack them or build them there!!! lol...
I love your videos, they're so helpful and so positive! Thank you
I love your videos! You guys are so cute together and watching your videos makes me feel I’m on vacation lol ❤
Glad I found your vlog. Very hard to find vlogs on Norway cruises. Great job!
Costa Rican money is beautiful too! Thank you for the awesome videos!!
Just started watching you guys. This one was beautiful! You guys do a great job!
I love towns or cities were you can walk around and explore!

Cruising to Stavanger in July! 🥳 May I know what App you used to create a walking route downtown? Thanks to both of you for the great video content!
Great video. Can’t wait for day 4. Hunker down and stay safe for the next couple of days!
Thanks, we made it out without any damage or power loss!
"I wonder if the people that live here… Are they happy..” No they are not..😅 But we are many others really happy to see the ships come in to the Norwegian ports 👌🏻😊

I assumed they were mic packs as well - their sound is crystal clear!
I've been binge watching all your videos. Will you ever come to Canada I live in Newfoundland I think you would enjoy it.
I think “Gus” was a puffer bird
Puffin*
I just love your videos!
What were the dates for this cruise? Trying to judge the weather vs time of year. Thanks.
We went Aug 28 through September 4 of this year
youtube awards best travel vlogs 2022

Stavanger is sooo beautiful ❤️
What a crazy looking troll couple 😳🤣
Beautiful Norway , we can't wait for more days video
I love to se tourists in my city....
Hope you liked your stay..
Just added your magnets to my Christmas list! I love the one for Towel Animals. Our last 7 day cruise on Oasis we only got 3.
Dinner Time Question:
What is your favorite included restaurant at sea?
"That will be very soon, right Brian?" Funny
That colorful street you loved is called "Fargegata", or literally "The Color Street" :)
Beautiful scenery!
Do you guys have any plans to do a river cruise ?
Not right now, but we would love to!
We came prepared! We got some GBP and Kroner from our local bank in the US before flying over
Cash is rarely needed. Most things can be payed for by credit card. Its also usual very safe. Consult with your bank before leaving to check with them for advice.
Normal you get a better exchange rate when using the card than you do if you buy cash. Again, check with your bank if the take some kind of extra fee for transaction in foreign currency.

When is your group cruise?
Love this vlog ...but....there were Alot of "Likes" during this vlog!! I couldn't stop laughing 🤣 I had to watch it again 🤣
Hey
I enjoyed the film from my city Stavanger, hope you will come back sometime.👍
Have a nice holiday ahead🇧🇻
20:05….NOT exactly being subtle there,Kerry! (Good Luck!)
Really enjoyed going on this adventure with you. Hopefully we will take this cruise in the future.
I was on a fall foliage cruise last week and I went to a Starbucks and found both Montreal and Quebec. Prettier than just Canada. I did find Germany and Denmark on my Baltic cruise. I think next year I'll be going to Norway
it would be so nice if you would post your walking tour map of Stavanger and other ports you created walking maps for.
Would love to know the route you took on your walk. The yellow hat is called a sou’wester!
oh thats smart, we just carry a back pack that has our memory cards or if we need to change batteries haha. but those little clips 😂😂😂 that would have been hilarious
Hello! What month did you take this cruise? I’m doing this cruise in June.
What month did you cruise?
Love the vlog Brian and Kerry 🙌🚢😊
yes I love currency from other countries!!
Dinner time question what’s your favourite thyme park mine is Epcot, enjoying your vlogs 😊
Another great video. Hope you two are safe in Florida!
Thanks for thinking of us, we made it through the storm okay!
that's how it was when I visited my sister in Alaska! in July. I was just chillen and all the sudden it was 3am 😳 and it was still bright outside and I was like oh I'm screwed, because my niece wakes up at like 7am haha

Fraser- I think they’re Floridians. Us in the northern US/Midwest would be the same way as the Brits. 🤣
Dinner time question- if you could get rid of a 1 group class of ship , which class would it be and why?
Do you also have a mic in the black pouch? Your audio is always very good even when not close to the camera.
Hoping all is well after Ian. Waiting for the next vlog.
We made it out really lucky, no damage or power loss! Can’t wait to share our next video, we had such a good time in Flam
18:53 that kid definitely hit the ground. 😂
When are publishing the next video of your Norway cruise?
Hopefully this weekend but we can’t promise it, we’ve been really busy with work
I love your videos! My partner and i have always been interested in cruises because we live in a port city so we see lots of ships coming and going. But we have never been on any of them. My question is, do you find really good deals and is it best to go through a travel agent or just scour websites online? Or another method? Thank you both!!
You gotta try it! We currently don’t use a travel agent, and we mostly cruise based around our work schedules and free cruise offers from the casino.
Hope you are both ok after storm Ian 🤞
We’re all good here, thanks for thinking of us!
Finally, I’ve been patiently waiting for this video. I’m glad you tired the mickeyDs there, I regret not trying the gyro Big Mac when I was in Athens 😢

Y’all should definitely continue to go to different McDonald’s! It’s very interesting!
I believe some people don't like cruising because it's not enough time to see all interesting things at ports
Can you pay with credit cards
We totally get wanting to try Starbucks/McDonald’s while traveling abroad to try the country’s different menu items! Hopefully the wedding trolls will be in your near future 😉❤
No we don't get it.
Peep the child falling off of the cannon at 18:50
haha yeah, kind of funny we almost caught that on camera. the kid was totally fine btw
Don't tell people to cruise more! My October Symphony cruise is already on track for a full sell out!
When I was in Canada I was asked,” how do you Americans count your money, it’s all the same color!”
I always love to see cats. You need to add your cat to future videos.
I love sweet potatoe fries!!!
Dinner time question from my GF Ashley: what is your favorite cruise port you’ve ever been to?
Good question! We’ll think about it and answer on a future cruise!
Lol for someone who said that only a loser would go to burger King but then proceeds to go to McDonald's and he is very excited too 😆
man do all you youtubers have secret meetings on where to go 😂😂 everyone I watch on a regular basis 4 out if the 5 were in Norway almost the same exact time lol

But we all wanna see both of them in the flowrider right? Common folks! If we cheer them on we might get them to do it! 😉
Oh man , I thought you were going to say a EpiPen or some kind of life-saving medicine was in your guys's pouches.
But then only the person that needed the medicine would carry it for the other to save their life it was a romantic thought .
sorry I always comment like 100x I like to comment as I'm watching the video. one day we will visit here! but Switzerland is higher up on my list
