I'm born in 2000, but I grew up with cartoons from the 80s. Now I'm 16 and 21 Jump Street is my favorite tv show. Too bad I didn't live back then, 80s was such a great decade!
Check out Miami Vice, it was THE 80s show
I was born in1982
Looking back at my life, there are tons of things that I miss about my childhood that I had never thought were a big deal at the time.
True
Back when tv was actually good to watch.
Agreed!
I was born in 2000. Never seen any 80s shows until i was 12 when i watched MacGyver for the first time. To this day MacGyver is one of my Favourite 80s shows of all time.
I miss the 80s shows😫
Me too
Ibrahim kd I was a little girl back in the 80's I grow up watching them.
I loved the 80's, I got to spend all my teenage years there; born in 69.
I time cry just thinking about it sweet sweet days life must go on
They round!
I was born in 1979 and lived through the 80s to enjoy this wonderful era as a child with Air Wolf, Knight Rider, Perfect strangers, Street Hawk, and ALF being my favourite TV shows.
I wanna cry I want all of them back .............. I miss old times .............
Macgyver gave me goose bumps. I would be asked to sleep by nine. I'd wait till my parents were watching macgyver and then sneak back in to the hall by 11 to watch the show from behind the couch! There was no way I was missing an episode of macgyver!
My grandmother has all seven seasons on dvd.
Macgyver is timeless , I'm 17 now and still watching it !!!
You sound like Marge Simpson's sisters, Patty and Selma ;)
@@sandavijithminirathnayake7033 wow 17 and watching macgyver you must be a rare individual I loved that show too
Don’t get me wrong I like the internet but there are times I really miss the 80s and the shows because there was no internet. It made everything in the 80s feel more interesting.
my best chilhood the 80s 90s what a memories take me back please.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! The best Top 100 80's TV Show List I have ever seen!
Mid 80s to mid 90s..apex of pop culture
80's was the golden era of TV, movies, and music. You missed The Muppet Show, Family Ties, Night Court, V, Alien Nation, Hunter, and Michael Mann's Crime Story.
don‘t forget Laverne & Shirley, Taxi, and WKRP in Cincinnati.
1984 was a classic year, If I could live any year over; it would be 1984.
+John Smith Family Ties WAS there (2:15)... How could they miss Night Court?? It was one of the funniest shows of the 80s. (& L.A. Law?)
Taxi, WKRP, Night Court -- yeah, you stop to think about it, those are glaring omissions.
This is like the soundtrack of my childhood. I remember watching about 90% of these shows... life was so quaint back then.
Nice list, thanx!!
Thank you so much for making this list!!!!!
awesome vid! keep up the great work. I've subscribed :)
?!;
Nice nostalgia trip! Thanks
yes
I absolutely love the old shows. It was a treat finding the old Britcoms
todo eso me lo vi bueno unos no
Fantastic list!
OMG! This makes me happy and sad at the same time. I loved my childhood. Soooooo many of these shows I watched and knew of. And there's others that weren't even on this video. Automan, V, Werewolf, Punky Brewster, just to name a few. Man. Such wonder, emotion, originality, heart, adventure. Man, I miss it. Before I really knew how cruel and ugly the real world was and is. My favorite time for TV, movies, music, comic books, toys, video games. Thank you for this.
90s wasn't too shabby either.
6:02 there’s Pastor Dave from That 70’s Show.
Great stuff and memories. Also, remember Werewolf? I loved that show too.
Watched 90% of those. Married with Children is classic
I really enjoyed this
good times good times
Magnum, P.I was the best show. Simon & Simon had the best theme. The electric guitar along with the saxophone was just AWESOME!
Where is Spenser for Hire, Buck Rogers in The 25th Century and The Love Boat.
Born in 81" Half of these shows, I had forgotten about. This video was a absolute worm hole for me to go down.
Golly, you sure you have enough cartoons? Many great choices here, I admit. I won't bug you about Stingray or Mike Hammer -- but come on, The Equalizer was great.
No social media back then....we had it good 🙌🏾. Loved Robotech to
And Doogie Howser, M.D.; Hunter; Unsolved Mysteries; American Gladiators; Police Squad; Webster; Mission: Impossible; Three's a Crowd; Heathcliff; Jonny Quest, and so on.
BRILLIANT VIDEO WELL DONE
Remington steel, robotech, saber rider and the star sheriff's, force 5, centurions, Beverly hills 90210, Mac and muttley, doogie bowser MD, Dr. Fad show, swat kats, manimal, automan, lifestyle of the rich and famous and many more.
WOW-it must have been a lot of hard work taking extracts from many different TV show theme songs to fit into this video.
The Cosby show, wonder years, who’s the boss, Batman the animated series, etc... are all great shows I grew up too, and I love.
So much love for Mike Post. He basically themed the 80's
Who's Mike Post?
Mark Snow did alot of tv shows infamous themes such as Starsky and Hutch, Pee Wees Playhouse, Hart to Hart, TJ Hooker, La Femme Nikita, The Ghost Whisperer, The Lone Gunman, Millennium, Smallville, Blue Bloods and many more including The X Files.
@@not-so-smartaleck8987 Mike Post like Mark Snow is a music composer called on to give our favourite shows that iconic theme and his shows include The Rockford Files, The A Team, Blossom, Doogie Howser MD, The Greatest American Hero, Hunter, Magnum PI, LA Law, NYPD Blue, Quantum Leap, Hill Street Blues, Law and Order and many more.
I was a teen in the 80's and Ive never heard of most of these..... but I loved Quantum Leap and Cheers...
On the decade before 1980's,the tv format is analog vhf/uhf,on the present era there are digital cable/tv box/dongle & online/website formats
love the old show n songs~
wana go back in that same time 😭
Excellent work on this! But where is L.A. Law, Silver Spoons, 227, Head of the Class, Hogan Family and Webster? As for Cartoons: Superfriends, Shirt Tales and Richie Rich.
Anyone else feel depressed now realizing your now in your 40’s, and this really wasn’t that long ago?
I'm in my late 50s, and the 80s definitely don't seem that long ago! ;)
😍😍😍😍😍😍 my childhood programs
i miss Alf
Miss the 80s great childhood memories
Does anyone remember a series from the 80's called "Animal"? It had a cobra snake and in one episode it slithers into an arcade and a hockey game bubble if placed over it.
To fast!!!! Really awesome comp though. Thank you for the memories

The A team

knight rider
Airwolf
Street Hawk
C.O.P.S
Visionaries
Spiral Zone
Mac Gyver
Magnum P.I
Stringray
Automan

Starsky and Hutch
The Professionals (UK Crime Tv show 1977 -83)
G.I.Joe (A Real American Hero)
Punky Brewster, Alf, Miami Vice, Thundercats, Voltron, GI Joe ,21 Jump Street, Masters of the Universe, Growing Pains, She-Ra etc
Khemt291223 bro remove mission impossible and slap in streethawk
Khemt291223 inhumanoids
you forget "Garrison's Gorillas", "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", "Learning the Ropes", "The Wizard"
I don’t remember the equalizer or automan.... what were those about?
MacGyver,Highlander,and Bravestar were my faves.
Highlander was 90's (92-98). BraveStarr was apparently a cartoon (87-89). I think they should've taken all the cartoons/kid shows and put them into a separate vid. (This vid is just bizarre, alternating "real" primetime shows with the cartoons/kids stuff.)
I forgot Hunter and Hooker and Chips, Family ties, Punky, Diffrent Strokes, Dynasty,
Grew up with knight rider .most of these . Ireland 1980s
I’m 40 years old French guy so I didn’t have exactly same famous TV show, but I liked (and still like) most of your selection. If I would have to do a top 100, I think I kept from your top for example : MASK, Knight Rider, Alf, MacGyver, etc… And I would put in this top : Manimal, Dragon Ball, Sherlock Holmes (Miyazaki’s version), Chodenshi Bioman, Masters of the Universe, Captain Tsubasa (« Olive and Tom » in French version), Saint Seiya, Ulysse 31, Inspector Gadget, Cat’s Eyes, Moi Renart, Les Mondes engloutis, Lamu, Sidekicks, etc…
Great
You forgot about NIGHTCOURT,227,AND JAKE AND THE FATMAN
I didn't see Webster on there! I miss the 80s!
I was raised on Miami Vice!!!
I love these but most of these carried on into the 90s. I was born in 1988 and watched all these in the 90s lol. I'll be 29 soon.
In that time was the internet the television.
Whoa, I just got punched in the face with nostalgia and when I woke up I was on Memory Lane.
GOSH THEY JUST DON'T EVEN GET CLOSE TO THIS MUCH GOOD TV PROGRAMS NOW.
The Silver Spoons, Just the Ten of Us, Doogie Howser M.D., Fresh Prince of Bellaire, M.A.S.H., You Can't Do That on Television, The Simpsons, COPS.... I'd say you missed a few gems ;)
The Fresh Prince and Simpsons were more so 90s shows. Though they were released in 1990.
@@MrBJG79 Actually the Simpsons started in Dec. '89, not counting their short appearances during the Tracey Ullman show that go back to '87. (Quantum Leap was included here, and that didn't start till '89.) On the other hand, I wouldn't exactly call all of the shows in the original comment "gems" (Just the Ten of Us? You Can't Do That on Television? Those TV show names aren't even familiar, at least to me)....
Not-so-smart aleck Thats what I meant about The Simpsons, I think of it as more of a 90s Show because it only had one episode as an official show in 1989. But I guess they’re going by original date (and also including the Tracey Ullman shorts maybe). 🤷🏾♂️
lol, Snorks. The drowned underwater Smurfs.
At least these people made my day: it did include both JatH in the '80s list and XWP in the '90s one... (was "kinda raised" by the ladies from both series)
s
syxepop OK, what are "JatH" and "XWP"??
Where are "BJ and the bear" and"Sheriff Lobo"?
I watched almost every one of these growing up. Oddly enough, I don’t even watch TV now. I think reality tv killed all enjoyment I used to get from watching tv. Even with 100x the channels, tv will never be as creative and unique as it was in the 80s.
nice
Love airwolf
Forgot "V", "Crime Story" and "Max Headroom".
Aww miss them
I watched:
Full House; DuckTales; TMNT; Chip'n Dale; Alf; Today's Special; Married with Children; Inspector Gadget; Alvin and the Chipmunks; The Care Bears; The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh; Murder, She Wrote, Matlock, Reading Rainbow; Fred Penner's Place; My Pet Monster, Beetlejuice, Sharon, Louis and Bram; Under The Umbrella Tree.
I watched dozens of shows from the 90's but can only recall a few that I've watched from the 00's and the ONLY show from this decade I really tried to get into was Zoo - I gave up on that during second two.
I like the golden girls
SILVERHAWKS!!!
🎶partly metal partly real 🎶
What about Remington Steele and Simon & Simon?
Magnum P.I., Hardcastle and McCormick, Buck Rogers and One Day At Time, The Littles, Dungeons and Dragons, Small Wonder, Punky Brewster to name a few. 😎🍻
Okay, I'm astonished at the number of cartoon shows. It seems they make up almost 50 percent. That's really surprising. I'm not a cartoon person, but if I had to guess, I would've said cartoons wood make up 5-10 percent at the most. Thanks for the list!
They should've done two separate vids, one for kids shows (cartoons or otherwise), and the other for "real" (primetime) shows.
Oh man what an amazing video! like & subscribe ;)
Miami Vice, Air Wolf, Magnum, A Team, Murder She wrote
FULL HOUSE ALL THE WAY
No way. Nauseating p.o.s. Worst sitcom ever.
6:43 isn't that the little house on the prairie guys? They are great
Michael Landon, yes; not sure about the other guy.
PLEASE, if anyone can remember an 80s British Comedy Show (there was hardly any talking, possibly none). The main character had mustache and the front of his dark hair was dyed pink. In one episode he wiped his face with a towel that had red dots, and the dots remained on his face afterwards. That's what I remember.
That's when TV was worth watching
I miss tv that the whole family could watch
Me traen muchos recuerdos de mi infancia
The 80s the greatest decade and the 20s ever
mo brown the 20s ?
Well at least Full house is on here
Family Ties...A plus!
I still have a thing for Mallory, LOL
My favorite TV shows are airwolf, the A team , Knight Rider ,& BJ and the bear , s.w.a.t , Starskey & Hutch, c.h.i.p.s & the Dukes of Hazzard these TV shows i just mentioned needs to be put back on television
FWIW, Starsky & Hutch was a 70's show (75-79)
heres the new lyric for Cheers: "You never wanna go...where everybody hates your GUUUUUTTS" lol
Huh?
what happened to small wonders??
Yeah! Small Wonder, Simon & Simon, Benson, Webster, Punky Brewster, Empty Nest, The Hogan Family, Amen, Gimme a Break, Roseanne, Head of the Class, Family Matters, Designing Women, Out of This World, What's Happening, 227, Silver Spoons, Night Court, My Secret Identity, Hardcastle & McCormick, Hunter, T.J. Hooker, Heathcliff, Beverly Hills Teens, The Go-Bots, The Bionic Six, Police Academy: The Series, and one of my all time, old school favorites... REMINGTON STEELE!!!
Scarecrow and misses King/Tales of the gold monkey
most of the tv shows on here are on a site people can watch it all the seasons like full house knight rider and other shows
Any particular "site"? What do you do, just Google the name of the TV show and hope for the best?
Okay, by my count, that's 46 cartoon shows. Come on that can't be, lol. Not to mention, that ALF had an animated series, too!
5:07 is that the boy who used to be little and have a crush on that girl from happy days? Its the show with fonzie!
Scott Baio (and Erin Moran)
its missing the Pink Panther!
Me: *sees full house and transformers as the first 2* and I'm already happy
RENTINE_WEBER_AVEXIT HI/DEF RESCEPTACLE LO/DUM QUALITY
You're already happy? I'm already nauseated. Thumbs down.
And I like film, bat pink, Flintstones, the bottom of the sea, Scooby-Doo, flash Gordon, etc
Born in 2000 .. I be watching A different world, The Cosby show, and full house
Can't forget about Ulysses 31 (1981)
you forgot Voyagers. I think it is where they got the idea for Quantum Leap.
I can’t watch a lot of these without sniggering.....Robot Chicken has a lot to answer for.. .. BLAM!
Why did I laugh out loud when the Cosby Show came on
It was a wholesome family show with a fine, upstanding gentleman for a main star. (Wait, WHO was the star of that show again?? Oh.....)
What about Scarecrow and Mrs King?
