For me this was the most natural and the first move to do on a foilboard, after I learned to ride straight, even before making U-turns... Left side was easier than the right one...
Great video, slightly different approach than the PRogression or Duotone acadamy vids, I really like the use of the bar movement overlay synced to the move. brilliant idea.
I experimented with various kites for foiling and now I prefer the rebel. The 2021 turns fast, has lots of power so you can use a small kite or go in very light wind, it gives lots of pull at the edge of the window which makes footswaps, tacks and 360s easier. I would add that a rebel is easier to drop (front stall) than a surf kite like the neo, or a specialist light wind kite like the juice. If you are likely to have issues with front stalling then a kite like the neo, dice or juice will help keep your kite in the sky. If you are beyond the point of having front stall issues, then the rebel will make many aspects of foiling easier.
@@kitesurfcollege ohh super cool thanks for your feedback. I assumed that the 5 struts weight would be an issue in light wind. I'll give it a try. Thanks for this amazing tutorial by the way I can't wait to work those 360 😉
I have foiled with NEO's for 4 years (after riding Rebels on twin tip / surf for like 8 years). I really recommend NEO's for foiling they drift really well and you can point 60 degrees down wind and the kite just sits there. If you are ultimately after boosting, Rebel will give you more yank, but I prefer NEO's for all around foiling.
I finally got two of these cleanly today after over a month working on 360s / tacks! Thanks for your help!!
I'm glad it helped, but well done to you for going for it.

Yet another outstanding tutorial from KSC. Thanks Alex. Looking forward to working on this move.
Would you say it’s easier to start with the 360 then tack to toeside? Or the other way around?
Thx for showing the twintip version as well...never saw it before! On my to do list now! ;-)
Toby, I'm sure you could do that with your eyes closed.
@@kitesurfcollege now that would be a Blind 360 😉
@@kitesurfcollege BTW...would like to see this done blind riding...I am not a blind rider...anyone? Would love to see that!
amazing on twin tip too
Thanks Gaetano. I've recorded all the footage for a twintip version and directional version. I should have those tutorials made soon.
Nice Vodeo agian, love your trainings. Where is the spot where the videos are shot?
Thanks Michi. This video is shot at the Breede river in South Africa.
How is it to foil with a Rebel?
