Anthony, I have been customizing my GI Joe Classified figures using alcohol markers, sharpie markers, and acrylic paints and have been pretty impressed with the results. Last night I impulsively bought a Thailog figure at Walmart and have been applying the same paints on it throughout the day while doing chores and looking at it now instantly cures my buyer's remorse. Makes me more frustrated that manufacturers don't apply a bit of the paint I do at home.
I thought this looked like trash upon release and should only have been a $35-40 army-builder two pack. Thankfully you're leading the way in being honest about crap releases, while the majority are just building up their following with shiny happy shilling and free products to review.
My integrity is worth more than a marvel legends figure lol. I'll take free samples if they ever want to do that (not likely) but my reviews will be the same. What's good is good and what's bad is bad. Simple as that.
Great review. I've a smile listening to your critique as it echoed exactly what I have been thinking since its reveal. Like Panther and Hornhead these types of characters are simple to make with existing tools and paints, so why doesn't Hasbro have a floating charge rate for their characters OR add accessories to the plain to compensate. Furthermore, I could not agree with you with anymore conviction that this product should be an army builder if Hasbro's greed wasn't so blinding to them.
Only thing I can say about this figure being blank white plastic is that I can use it for custom fodder. I've almost given up on Legends when other companies do better, including domestic!

We should really stop buying stuff from Hasbro. In Boog's interview they bring up the inflation bs as if that was some huge problem for their poor small company, lol. They keep releasing figures with minimal paint, they keep releasing figures with as few accessories as they can, they keep releasing small characters as BaFs, they keep releasing "Build an Accessory" type of BaFs (they released the damn Vulture as a deluxe figure so they proved that can be done and there's no need to release them as BaFs), they keep laughing at us and somehow we are still allowing it. F Hasbro.
I wouldn’t buy these at the price point they at but some figures at GameStop can go for less than $10, which at that point it still ain’t worth getting most of these.
I’m out on buying Hasbro figures with pins. The only company that I am OK with pins is NECA, but their aesthetic is so incredible the pins don’t bother me. McFarlane I’ll buy on clearance. I just passed on almost the entire Bonebreaker wave on clearance, the only figure worth a second look is Maggott, but he’s a D-tier character.
I only buy Legends on discount now. If I miss them, then I miss them. There is a very rare occasion lately where I buy them at full price, which is usually exclusives that I want. I've also passed on several full waves of figures, regardless of the discount.

The retailers (Walmart, Target, TRU in Canada, Game Stop) are the ones buying these things and getting loses when they pegwarm, unfortunately it is going to take a while for them to realize this is a bad business. Only thing I see is a custom
No details on this no accessories? Come on hasbro ! This is why I'm buying joe figures !!! Better spent money !
Just curious if I’d be viewed as a wanker or a bastard for waiting for Mafex to make a superior version of this figure.
Hasbro used the environment as an excuse to make even more shittier figures by hiding them behind false product photos to hell with Hasbro…. I honestly rather Hasbro lose the license and never make another piece of crap than buy anymore of this overpriced trash…. McFarlane’s worst is better than just about anything Hasbro has made price wise…. Long live Todd!
you sure this is not Killer Queen?
The Queen song from 1974?
the renders on the box just blatantly lie.
Answer of the day: Dummies. Wow, Hasbro. W in the actual F?? How can this be OK?
Interesting, so this isn’t white tiger
Customize it
I wouldn't want it for free
😆My money stays in my pocket for now..🙄Nothing new to this...😒
